. I have been a member for over two years and I can honestly say I have never enjoyed boating as much. Prior too joining I was a boat owner for allmost 35 years. My wife asked me one day "If you hit the lottery whould you buy another boat?" My response "Heck No." The fleet of boats is great and well maintained. The staff is absolutely great. You cant beat it.

I cant say enough good things about Freedom Boat Club. I've been boating my entire life and had owned a boat for a long time and after finding Freedom Boat Club I cant imagine getting on the water any other way. Freedom in Riviera Beach

Freedom Boat Club in Riviera Beach has, hands-down, the biggest and best boat fleet in all of Florida. My wife and I have been members for almost 2 years. We bought the membership as an early wedding gift to ourselves and I must say we have been overall very satisfied with the operation that Chris Anders runs at this location. We drive all the way from Hollywood to go boating out of Palm Beach because we were so impressed with the fleet and the professionalism we met when we toured their operation (and we had looked into a number of clubs closer to home).

All the boats are operational and work as designed. Boats that get daily use usually aren??t flawless and that is why you join a boat club, so you don??t have to deal with repairs and maintenance. I grew up with boats and know that unless you live on the water and go out OFTEN (read: almost daily), they are not worth owning. Any time there has been an issue with a boat not working properly the staff at this location has procured another craft for our use for the day.

When we first joined, the club offered my wife a free lesson as she was totally foreign to boating. Early in her boating experience, there was an occurrence where she did do some damage to a boat by trimming up the motor while the acrylic door to the live well was open (cracking the door). We informed the club about what happened when we returned and were very pleased with how it was handled. After presenting us with the quote, we were charged the actual amount of the repair and the club was totally professional about it (it was reasonable).

Melanie is friendly and does the booking for boats at other club locations (yes, you can even take out boats from other club locations all over the eastern seaboard up to 4 times a year per location in addition to unlimited use from the home club). The staff does care about the club and its reputation and has always treated me and my wife professionally.

If I had it to do over again, there would be no hesitation in joining this club. I have heard that other Freedom locations may not be as inviting and this is because each club is a separate franchise operated by separate ownership.

For those looking to enjoy fishing, cruising and sunning on a boat without the headaches of owning a boat, a boat club may be for you. I would recommend this club to those wanting to go out 2-3 weekends a month (during peak season April-August) and unlimited weekday use (you can usually call a day or two before on weekdays and have a boat in the water for your impromptu day off). During non-peak season, you could have a boat just about every weekend if you wanted to.

I say go by the marina and see (and walk on) the boats yourself on a weekday evening (so you can see them all); it is quite an impressive fleet.

If you love boating, this is the best money you will ever spend. All of the joy of boating without any of the headaches. No trailering, no launching, no cleaning, no maintence, none of the stuff that makes boating suck. Freedom Boat Club is the best way to enjoy the water without any of the headaches.

Anyone who has ever owned a boat knows what a pain in the butt it it is. With Freedom Boat Club, you can own the water... but not the boat! We have been members for about a year now, and really love it. There boats are great, and the club is constantly buying or leasing new boats. Highly recommend it!
