Midtown's a nice enough place, but it seems they got caught in the real estate downturn just at the wrong time. The shops have been opening and most of the majors are now in place. A novelty for Miami, they charge for parking - only giving an hour or so grace on validated parking tickets. Once the condos and apartments fill up, then the pace and crowds should as well.
