I Just bought a 2011 Mazda CX-9 Touring + options from Cox Mazda. My experience with Cox Mazda was great. I set an test drive appointment and met with a salesman named Michael Furlong. He was very knowledgeable of my vehicle and was polite, he never tried pressuring me into anything and I ended up getting a pretty decent deal, could have been a little better but still decent. The dealership was up to date and clean, smaller than anticipated though. Sales part was easy and problem free. Finance dept was a little slow getting me in there when there was no one else in the office. The paper work was pretty quick, I was driving my car off the lot about 4hrs after I got there. A few weeks later though I got a call from my finance company asking for copies of my two most recent pay checks for the loan. The finance person, Justin at Cox forgot to tell me I needed to give him those so he could forward them with the paper work, I was a little concerned after I received the phone call and called Cox right away, Justin apologized and I emailed him the pay checks and he took care of it right away, other than that the finance part of the sale was decent. The service dept seemed current and clean. I will probably go there for my first two free oil changes but probably not after that because its about 45-60 mins away from where I live. I drove from Clearwater to Bradenton because of other good reviews I had read online, all seemed to be good or very satisfied, I left the dealership happy and content. If your looking to buy a Mazda and get a good deal on it, go to Cox Mazda you will be happy you did. I would by my next car from there again.

When I was car shopping, I used Edmonds dot com to price cars and also their "contact dealers" option to get emails from multiple dealerships. I had two great encounters with Mazda dealers, one was Ferman Mazda in Brandon, and the other was Cox in Bradenton. Cox matched the lowest price (by Ferman) and threw in a year's worth of servicing on my new car purchase. I got to a bottom line price via emails before even stepping foot in the showroom, and when I did for the test drive there were no unpleasant surprises or add-ons -- the price I was quoted in the email is what I paid for the car. Save yourself a lot of running around and headaches and shop for your car by using the internet department-- you get a bottom line price right away and that will save you hours in the showroom.

I was inthe market for either a mazda 3, corolla or sx4 crossfire. I went to 4 dealerships personally and called/e-mailed 4 others. This salesman and Cox Mazda called and e-mailed me asking what I was interested in. I told him, he shot me back an e-mail with a great price (3k off a 17k sticker). I went in and test drove the car (mazda 3), they gave me a fair price on a trade in and there was no hassle.

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, no hassling.
