Before we signed their contract, we asked them if they were experienced in training small children. Our child is 4. They said "yes". They said if any problems, just write a letter in the first week of training, & they would cancel contract & not charge us for the 2nd month.

As it turned out, they are NOT qualified to teach young children! Our teacher was around 18 years old & when asked what experience she had teaching young children, she said she taught her little brother how to play - that's it! She was very impatient w/ my son when he didn't understand her. She kept talking to my son like an adult & never explained anything to him at his level. She moved through the lessons very fast & didn't seem to understand that he couldn't keep up with her. She obviously had no experience w/ 4 year olds. Additionally my wife & I were very uncomfortable w/ this young girls attire. She always wore very tight jeans & everytime she sat down to teach lessons half of her buttcrack would show out of her jeans as she taught my 4 year old. She also seemed oblivious of bending over & exposing bra, breasts & all for the world to see. Not something that I care to expose to my 4 year old!

We wrote a letter of cancellation after my son?s first lesson! We were still forced to take our son every week for the duration of the month, with the expectation that the contract would cancel.

They did not abide by what they said. Sure enough, the following month, they charged our credit card for a 2nd month of lessons, even though we wrote a letter of cancellation per their instructions. We questioned them about the charge, they informed us that we misunderstood the contract & that there is a minimum 2 month contract, despite what they promised.

Wehner's School of the Arts, is a much better school, especially for kids. They use the Suzuki method to teach children of all ages to play musically. They have a professional staff & have no contracts. www.suzukitalent.
