I dont know what it is, but there seems to be that every misinformed restaurant owner calls there restaurant Mexican because they serve beans rice and cheese...on everything. Not authentic but decent. I don't think there is ANY real Mexican food in this state!

El Toro is the best kept western Palm Beach county secret. I have been to some of the older more established mexican eateries in PBC (Alleyda's and Amigos) and they pale in comparison to El Toro. The food is better than the other 2 restaraunts (try the fajita burritos) and the restaraunt is large and clean. Try the outdoor dining on a nice night and sit by the water and enjoy margaritas and the food. Service is friendly but if they're busy be patient. The worst thing that I've experienced is someone forgetting to bring my husband a refill and we asked another waiter and they brought it without a problem. If you are in the Royal Palm area seek out this place--you won't be disappointed.
