I like this store a lot, and there are some really good employees like Whitney and Jessica at the cash register, and Will and Tim at the "Nook" counter. Tim always helps me when I can't figure out all the wingdings with my electronic "Nook" and is very patient. Stay away from the daytime cashier Jo-Anne if you can, she has extremely poor hygiene and is rude. Her nails are BLACK and so are her teeth, so she smells terribly, and it makes me feel sick to see her touching the books I buy for my grandchildren!!! When I talked to an older man named Nick (who identified himself as the Manager) about her poor hygiene, he was extremely rude and walked away from me while I was still talking, telling me to call Customer Services because it's not his "problem." I would think as the one in charge of employees, it IS his problem? There is a huge selection of books there, and the sales people will even order one for you if the one on the shelf is broken. They don't have CDs anymore, sadly, but a good amount of DVDs. Some can get pretty pricey, but they have a lot of hard-to-find ones, or ones that Best Buy would think are too old, so it's worth paying a little extra. Awful music plays in the store half the time, so the ambiance leaves a lot to be desired, but there's Starbuck's coffee there too so that's a plus. A pretty good bookstore, but some of the higher-up employees need a new attitude.

Staff is really good, especially Cafe and the new Nook department, but stay away from the manager - he's an older, skinny man with glasses, can't recall his name right now, but he's mean to his employees, even snapping at them in front of customers! If you ask him for help, he is generally short and impatient, and berates you if you have a question. Everyone else is super, super nice and the Kid's Department has so much to offer! My teenage son and younger daughter always find several books, as do I, and my husband always finds some rare movies in the DVD dept. Pretty good for a Corporate chain!
