Karen, this lady wanted to have the hem for her son'spants taken up without cutting the extra long fabric, a normally advisable action for a growing son. However, I have informed this lady prior to taking this job that her son's pant's stretchable fabric does not hold it shape well when its hem it stuffed with so much of its own extra materials, The result would be a hem that looks like a stuffed roll which would make my job look unprofessional and so I told her that I made no promises about keeping the extra fabric. Why did she not object then?.
