My daughter came to me from out of town looking to purchase a dependable car, but with less than perfect credit. My wife and I know several car dealers in the area, but the first one we recommended was Wilde Honda in Sarasota. Both my wife and I have both purchased new vehicles there in the past. The sales representative that I recommended was Diego Barona, who has always done an excellent job or us. After talking to Diego and looking at the used cars that were available, as a new car purchase was not possible, Diego started running the finances through Wilde's loan personnel, but the initial results did not look promising. Meanwhile, we contacted other dealerships and car lots in the area in order to maximize our efforts as we only had 2 days to close a deal. After the first 1 1/2 days of nothing positive, we were beginning to give up hope that we would be able to find anything in the area that met both her transportation and financial requirements. While having a late lunch in Sarasota, I received a phone call from Diego informing me that he and the financing staff at Wilde Honda was able to find the financing that we desired at a very reasonable rate and to come on down. When we arrived back at the dealership, we found Diego waiting for us out front next to the 2008 Sebring Touring Sedan that my daughter wanted. While my daughter and I were just about to give up trying to find the right car and financing in Sarasota, Wilde Honda??s support staff never gave up. Their sales and financing staff stuck to it and came through with both the right financing at a very reasonable rate and an excellent car. The Sebring was in excellent condition both inside and out and ran great. I tip my hat to the support and sales staff at Wilde Honda. They have earned both my admiration and respect, once again, for a job well done. From the sales manager to the financing personnel and the sales personnel, they worked as a well-oiled machine, with a very personal touch added. If you are looking for an honest deal with people work hard to meet your needs, I strongly recommend asking foe Diego Barona at Wilde Honda and you too can see the difference that they make. You will be glad you did!
The only person you should ever purchase a vehicle from is Michael M. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful and pays attention to detail. It's almost as if he's the one picking out the car with you, telling you the pros/cons and facts. Not only did he go over-and-beyond in making our car-buying experience very easy, but he also made our used car seem BRAND NEW: He scrubbed a kool-aid spot out of the floor, a stain out of the seatbelt, and the dealership repainted a blemish to my satisfaction. There are other little 'easy fixes' he made to the car to seem more brand new to us that we never expected any salesperson to do. Michael made sure to have a SUPER detail job done on the car before he called us to pick it up - if it wasn't to his high standards, it wasn't done. You would think that Michael was done since we purchased our car 2m ago. Due to Michael's thoroughness and thoughtfulness, he followed up with me to see if I had received the owner's manual from them (since it was missing), which I hadn't yet. So he is now making sure I get that, which I totally forgot about and he didn't.

We traveled 350 miles to do business at Sarasota Wilde Honda because of his honesty and ability to put us in the perfect fit of our choice at a price we could afford. We spoke with Michael on the phone and when we arrived from out of town, he validated everything he had promised on the phone. It was well worth the trip and we are most satisfied with our new Honda. It made purchasing a new car a most pleasant experience.
Their financial department is a little overwhelming in trying to convince you what a sacrifice they are making to give you the great deal you are getting, pressuring to sell you things you don??t need and can??t afford but Michael Malmsbury does such an outstanding job of listening to your needs & requests it overrides the finance departments razzle dazzle ??em pitch.
