After having our inboard engine replaced by another mechanic and over a year of issues with the vessel, we reached out to Jerry at Ahoy to evaluate the situation and offer us his recommendations. We interviewed several other companies, but in the end decided to go with Jerry because he wasn't trying to put a bandaid on the bullet hole.
We aren't disappointed in our choice. He gave us a written estimate, repaired the issue and had our boat back in the water ahead of schedule. His pricing was more than fair, we received the boat back in beautiful condition, he even sent it out for cleaning, and he found and repaired several other small issues we didn't even know existed.

This guy "Jerry" from "AHOY MOBILE MARINE" RIPPED US OFF FOR $850.00 CASH !

Was supposed to do a gimball housing switch that included a new bearing and new gaskets, all he did was put some JUNK parts he had on our boat and switched out parts of our out drive with
parts of the other gimball housing I suppose to make his job easier. No new gasket and bearing like he had said. While doing so he also did something wrong, I couldnt tell you what it was, I'm sure he knows. Long story short, we got it back, put it
in the water and it started to sink, NEVER TOOK ON WATER BEFORE HE TOUCHED IT !

He also was suppose to install a new steering cable in our sea ray 18.8 bow rider, he actually did put in the new steering cable, trouble is he put it in wrong and it hangs out the bottom of the dash,

I should have known better, when a licensed repair mechanic offers to do "Under the table work" as to avoid the tax man, that should have said alot of his honesty. Tricked me for a few dollars saving of tax. Guess I'm the dummy, the smalls claim judge will have to decide that.

DON'T BE NEXT !

Want to know more, drop me a line and come look at his quality work.
