I called Nationwide Relocation to schedule a move from Michigan to Arizona. I spoke to Carla Romagnolo who quoted me a guaranteed not to exceed rate of $3721.27. Carla mysteriously went out on a family emergency never to be seen or heard from again. I spoke to Michael Anthony who repeatedly told me that this move was guaranteed not to Exceed $3721.27. I paid my deposit to him and received a copy of my contract to sign. I told him that there was stuff missing off my inventory, big stuff, like my refridgerator, and my queen size bed. He told me to sign the contract and quality assurance will contact me to make sure everything was taken care of. Shane from Quality Assurance called me on the Monday before I moved and doubled my rate. Then after telling Michael Anthony to cancel my load he stated he would refund my deposit. That never happened, he told Shane to Hang the f*****g phone up he wasn't going to refund my f*****g deposit. That started the whole contacts with the customer service supervisors. I moved from West Palm Beach to Jacksonville last month. I originally hired another company out of Miami to do the move. When they failed to show up I called the office who told me they had me scheduled to move another day since they needed the truck for another job, but they could fit me in next week. I was so stressed and forced to call another company. I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews but I was back into a corner. I spoke to a guy named Shane who went out of his way to get me moved the next day. To my surprise, everything went really well. No complaints, no holding my furniture hostage, nothing broken, no drama. I have NO intentions of moving again, but if I do, I know who to call.
