This is a small home style restaurant - but has excellent food and prompt service. I like the fact that their lunch entrees come with a veg spring roll - which satiates my craving for an appetizer without having to order a separate dish.
The lunch time helping size is just about right - because I am a small eater - other places serve double of what i can eat at one go -whereas this place serves 1.5 times. I have boxed the leftover on all occasions and it has later served as a snack.
My colleagues have had some confusions with the order sometimes - between rice and noodle. So it is best to order by the item number on the menu.
if you go at lunch time - make sure you ask for the lunch menu - which is smaller and prices are lower.
Added attraction for me in visiting this place is - two real crane like birds who are always found guarding both the gates - they almost look like gatekeepers :-)
ambience is nice and quaint with oriental red and gold decorations. the capacity would be 25-30 at the most. I have always found parking at lunch time on Fridays.
