Buyer Beware:

This is a fair assessment of a situation that occurred to us at Nini and Loli Aventura on March 01, 2014.

I have been living in Miami for 23 years and was never unable to return or exchange anything. And I mean ANYTHING. Never had an issue when I had to return or exchange a product, ever.

My family bought a stroller and tried to exchange the next day for a different one (we did not want a refund, an exchange to a different product was our goal).

The salesperson at the Aventura Nini and Loli told me we were unable to do so. I told her that it was very unusual to be unable to exchange a product, especially within a 24-hour period without any use at all. Her response was that "in larger stores it is easier than in smaller, boutique stores like ours".

This is a simple, fair warning: DO NOT BUY AT NINI AND LOLI AS THEY HAVE VERY STRICT EXCHANGE/REFUND POLICIES. As much as we all wish to support our neighborhood stores, their policies are not flexible enough, which could be an issue on some instances.

I realized that the salesperson had no authority to resolve our situation and asked her to speak to a manager. The salesperson was able to call a co-owner of the store three times in front of me and this person refused to speak to us on the phone so that I could briefly explain our issue.

I have been to this store many times before and NEVER had an issue. But in my opinion, every business is good until you have an issue. When a problem arises and that business is able to resolve it for you, you now have a GREAT business, that helps and respects their clients. NOT the case here since I was refused to speak to anyone with authority to resolve it and the ONLY person that could help me was on a telephone refusing to speak to us.

I'm giving a 1 rating because there's nothing lower. In March I purchased a Fleurville handbag online which turned out not to be the right size tote I wanted. Within the specified time I returned the bag in the exact condition received - perfect - and was told I would receive my credit on the next cycle. I have left phone messages which have never been returned because I still have not received credit for this item. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Store has nice items but staff and owners are liars. We asked about creating a registry online so our friends could purchase items that we selected and we were able to pick some items online to create the registry. Then they told us to go into the store and pick the rest of the items and they would add them to the site so our friends could buy or see the items. Invitations were printed and various calls tothe owner and staff and they finally just said they added 1 item to the stores site and that we should log in and add it to our registry. Unbelievable Its a shame that a proprietor could do that to a pregnant woman regarding something as important as this. Buyers beware
