Pros: Support system to business

Cons: confusion with other businesses

My experience with Living Well Lady and FitSource Training Solutions has been a total nightmare. I started the gym at the end of December 2008 and got a month to month subscription, after I had a session with the trainer I decided to also purchase the training sessions which I ended up paying $380.00 per moth. Since I signed a contract with the trainer they advised me to change my moth to month subscription to a one year contract since I had the training sessions and this way my monthly payment would not be variable. That's when my problems started, they made the mistake of not canceling the month to moth acct they just opened another one, because of this I had 3 accts open which I was charged for all 3. When I realized what was happening I spoke to the manager and she told me that it was their mistake and that she would take care of it. I had to be after them for weeks so that they would cancel and I was still being charged so she told me that I would get a credit for the following month: February. After that happened I continued going to the gym and working out with the trainer, during one of those sessions he over worked me and that caused me to pull my calf muscle. I went to the doctor had to miss work for a whole week and had many doctor's fees, tests and medications to pay. This happened at the end of January, and it took me about a moth and a couple of more doctor visits to get all the paperwork they requested for the cancellation. I sent it on February 21 through certified mail and to my luck the post office lost it, so I had to send once again all the copies I had through express mail on March 5. When the post office went to deliver it no one was there so they left a noticed and it was not picked up until five days after. Now I found out that I never received the credit for their mistake and instead I have a bunch of late fees to pay. I've been calling the Kendall location and corporate office and the manager is never there, people in corporate don't answer or their voice mails are full or they don't return my messages. The manager told my friend with a similar problem that she didn't think they were going to accept my cancellation and that they had been calling my doctor to verify and that he was not answering, of course that I called my doctor to verify and they told me that they have never received a call from anyone there. So it is now after paying a great amount of money for something that I cannot use I've decided to go to Corporate office since they do not want to answer my calls. I do not recommend this gym not even to my worst enemy I feel like those contracts were signed with my life and now I can't get out of.

Pros: Example: best croissants in town

Cons: Everything about this gym

I'm sorry to say that my experience with this company was not the greatest. At times i called i was forwarded to voice mails that were full. Other times no one picked up the phone so because the voice mails were full you couldn't even leave a message for a call back. Everyone i spoke to seemed very nice, as if they were always willing to help me, but call backs and follow ups were few and far between. I was told things would be done, matters would be looked into by numerous individuals that seemed dependable, but my problem was never resolved, having me go in circles going in circles for months. I signed up for a contract that i had assumed was canceled but never was but because they were unable to find the paperwork, it was never canceled. Many individuals of the company told me they would look into the matter, although some did tell me they were having trouble tracking down the paper work. I was assured that that matter would be looked into and my account would be canceled. Told I'd just wait the 30 days for the refunds. However, these individuals never called me back and instead of a refund check i was being hounded by bill collectors. After 7 months and supposedly a supervisor claiming my account would have been canceled a month ago for the last time. I received a letter from a collection agency. And seven months later told because they are unable to find paperwork i will be held responsible for the debt. A debt of a gym i only spent time in to sign up. A debt I've had to call for months as many as 10 or more times a day. Thus, I am seeking legal action against this company now and for those that are not absolutely sure they want a gym contract with those of living well lady and lifestyle fitness, make sure you have everything to back it up if you cancel, not fall for false promises and realize that although the employees seem professional when they actually answer the phone, they are not as apt to assisting you as they seem and may give you the run around.

Pros: i got a special for a great deal, but decided to cancel at beginning of subscription.

Cons: Lousy customer service, they dont answer phones, mail boxes often full, dont follow up as should and give the run around.
