Pros: Good food - try the steak and chicken

Cons: Waiting for a free table

My friends and I are on an adventure on visiting every Japanese restaurant in Brevard County. We ended up at Haru last week and it was a great place. Would go there again. This week we went to Fujiyama. \r\nIt looked promising from the outside. Big place. Greeted by a staffer who looked more chinese than Japanese. we didn't sit at the hibachi area; took a seat in a regular table. our waitress was, like, a caucasian, and she wasn't too attentive to her guests and had a bit of an attitude. anyhow, we felt rushed by this waitress and quickly ordered rolls and I ordered the beef nagimaki. the rolls were overcooked. the table setting was not following the japanese culture. if it wasn't for the japanese music playing in the background, it would had felt like we were in a regular american restaurant. the asian looking guys behind the sushi bar next to us were talking and they didn't sound japanese. finally the entrees came and the food looked old and overcooked. the beef nagimaki is suppose to melt in your mouth with flavors but it was chewy and had too much soy sauce. then it took years for the table to be cleared and the check to come. very pricey meals and it wasn't worth it. i didn't eat all of my food. would we go there again? Nani? go there again--no way. Next week we'll try another place....

This is definitely one of the greatest restaruants in Melbourne FL. Its convienient, doesn't require reservations, amazing services and food. I am a frequent flier and usually eat there at least twice a wk. AMAZING! Beats Makoto's for me!!

Pros: Amazing Hibachi grill and Sushi

.

My wife and I eat there constantly because we find the sushi, hibachi food and service to be wonderful. We have found the restaurant's sushi in particular to be far better than any of the local competition that we've tried. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes sushi or food traditional to Japanese steakhouses.

Pros: The food and service at Fujiyama are outstanding

.

The sushi at Fugiyama was by far the worst sushi experience I have had in my life (and i have had a lot of sushi). The fish in the spicy tuna roll I ordered tasted old and came in a pastey form. When i confronted the manager, he was rude and unconcerned with the low qaulity of my meal. The solution they came up with was to charge me for the food that i did not even eat. I would never recomend that anyone eat at Fugiyama Seafood and Steak.

Fujiyama Seafood & Steak is clearly one of the best restaurants in town. The chef are entertaining and skillful as they prepare your food right in front of you. The seafood and steak is always fresh, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Joe (manager) is the most awesome host I've met. You'll get your money's worth, and then some. Keep up the good work.
