AMAZING CUBAN FOOD! I'm Cuban, therefore i should know about cuban food.
This place is wonderful. The vaca frita tastes amazing! TRY IT! The service has always been fantastic and i truly have no complaints.
The portion of food in Havana Harry's is extremely generous. We always take more than half home.
I recommend this place to all!

This is where the local cuban families go when they do not feel like cooking a big meal at home! Most of the dishes come with white rice and either bistec palomilla (long thin steak) or roasted chicken with black beans or ripe or green plantains! Good eats!

Havana Harry's menu is unique. My daughter had the Coconut Grouper which everyone is still talking about. My wife's entree was a steak with cheese sauce which also was excellent. While these were the highlights, I could not get enough of the plantains. The decor was very nicely done and you felt comfortable casual or dressed to the hilt as many of the patrons were. The Cuban clientele indicated it was a good choice for those who really know Cuban food. It has the most unusual menu of any Cuban restaurant we have been to. A little more expensive than some of the Cuban restaurants but well worth it.

This place is really good. The service can sometimes be a bit non-optimal but I find that at many of my favorite resteraunts anyway. The bottom line is the food is excellent. I recommend you try it out for yourself. You MUST order the 'Vaca frita de Pollo". You cant go wrong. I dont know if they still have the snapper in mango sauce which I used to have all the time until I tried the Vaca frita de pollo but that is great too.
Nice place. Highly recommended.

"Be all you can be", but don't pretend to be "more than you can be". We went with CHILDREN on a Tuesday night - when it was empty - to celebrate my father-in-laws 70th B-day.

Although pleasant and well-lit, a short "hotess-to-waitress exchange" at the reception confirmed my fears when we were segregated to a back of the restaurant to a table next the bathrooms and the kitchen. When we protested the location, they said the available tables were "reserved".

Give me a break! The place was empty when we left. It doesn't deserve my business.

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Cons: Discriminates against families with children sitting them in the back next to the kitchen

We went there based on the reviews from this website. The first impression was a smiling and friendly staff. We asked for their suggestions on the food and they were very informative. The food was absolutely amazing. All 3 in our group loved their meals. I highly recommend this place.

The waiter we had was one of the best I've ever met. A+ personality and skill. Looking forward to our next visit. Don't hesitate to check this place out. We have no regrets.

Never eat here around 2:00-5:00 they lake in service and the quality of food. You would believe that around this time the reastaurant would be empty and it was but the waiter just didn't know how to juggle a few tables at the same time. The food was cold, the mashed potatoes had to much garlic ( that made it unedable) they expected me to eat the bread right off the table b/c the didn't bring any plates. I'm very dissappointed to see a cuban restaurant that has great potential start going in a spiral downward.

This place is the best. Good service, great food, very affordable. Anytime I have anyone in town visiting, I take them to Havana Harry's. The ribs are great (but sometimes fatty), and all of the chicken and pork dishes I have had have been delicious. Good soup and desserts, too. An excellent restaurant. Get there early to get a good table - and a parking spot!

Great find in the charming Coral Gables neighborhood. While I thoroughly enjoyed my bistec a la palomilla, tostones, sangria ... and of course, a flan and coffee for dessert, I found myself looking at other tables to see what delicious meals I may have missed. Great value. The portions are "healthy," so you won't go hungry here... nor will you break the bank. Enjoy!

You'd never think a place called Harry's would serve good cuban food, but are you wrong! Harry's has revitalized cuban cuisine by turning old standards into new and exciting dishes. The stuffed Tostones combo is not to be missed, and the Chicken vaca Frita (which everyone is copying now!) started here. A variation on the original Vaca Frita, white meat chicken is replaced and makes for a delightful and flavorful alternative. Many chicken dishes shine, and the beef dishes dont lag behind. In a crowded field of Cuban restaurants, Harrys provides a perfect balance between traditional and nouveau. Go now and enjoy!!
Harry's started in a small space on restaurant row in Coral Gables, but moving to larger quarters did not hurt a bit..it still feels like home, assuming someone at home can cook!

Good cuban cuisine with specialized sauces like mango and guava. Food is excellent and price is reasonable.
