Well here goes. I have had hardwood floors and tiling done by All Floors in the past and was satisfied with the results. However, my recent experience sent me screaming away and I will never do business with them again. I needed a combination of hardwood and carpeting installed this time. I called and Leroy came out and measured and discussed the project. The problem was matching or coordinating with my existing hardwood and Leroy promised to search for products and call me back.

Thereafter I did not hear from him and I had to call them back at regular intervals to inquire about my project. Finally after 4 weeks, Leroy told me he had turned the project over to Luis who would be helping me thereafter. At first Luis was helpful and promised to find an acceptable product. He did call me with updates the first week. Finally he called to say that he had found a product and I went to look at it. He had sourced a hardwood product that was 6" in width when my existing hardwood is 3". All Floors could never seem to remember what my needs were! He promised to keep looking and keep me updated.

After another 2 week of hearing nothing, I went to Lowes and found the perfect match for my existing floors. I should have just never gone back to All Floors from that point on, but I was an existing customer and I wanted to give them another shot. So I wrote down all the info on the Lowes product and took it to the All Floors showroom. I took along my paint chip and checkbook as I was ready to select the carpet, sign the contract and pay the deposit. Luis called the manufacturer and found that the product was a Lowe's exclusive and they could not buy it from them, at which point I suggested I buy the product and then All Floors could install it for me as part of the larger project. I wanted them to install the wood as I had had them do so before and I like the work of their installer.

At that point, things began to fall apart and Luis said something to the effect that "No, All Floors always sources their own products" At which point, I must admit that I got irritated at this catch 22 from All Floors. THEY wouldn't/couldn't source the materials for me and I wasn't allowed to source them myself. Instead of working with me, Luis in turn became very angry and was very disrespectful to me and said some very insulting things. I did answer him in kind and I do freely admit that and should not have done so. Luis did nothing to diffuse the situation, he only escalated it.

At one point, Luis threw me out of the showroom. YES you read that right. I don't mean physically, but he told me I had to leave. Now, I am not a threatening person. I am a 5'2" 110 pound senior citizen woman. I think I had every right to be upset as All Floors had been stringing me along for almost 2 months. I left the store but thought I had left my note pad with the product info behind so I went back into the store and asked Luis if he still had it. At which point he said angrily, "I don't have ANYTHING that belongs to you and you need to leave NOW!" I felt threatened and unwelcome as a long time customer. This whole interaction was wrong on so many levels. There was a young man being very disrespectful to an older woman and a PAYING CUSTOMER.

Leroy did call me to ask about the incident, but he offered all kinds of excuses for Luis, defending him by saying "he really knows his products" and even chided me for contributing to the situation. At the end of the conversation he said he was going to take Luis out for a drink to help him forget the incident and asked if I wanted to join them. Really? Really? That might have been an attempt at levity but I was not amused. Leroy did apologize for the incident and called me the next day and left a voice mail with many more excuses and to say that All Floors was ready to go with my suggestion that I source the product from Lowes and they would do the installation. After the way I was treated, I cannot in good conscience continue to do business with this company.

In conclusion, I am giving All Floors one star in consideration of the work they have done for me in the past. I would give them -5 stars for this current fiasco if I could. I have owned several homes over the years and have worked with many vendors on home improvement projects. I have had disagreements with some of them but not on this level. I have never been thrown out of a single showroom, nor treated as badly as I was treated by All Floors. If you are considering doing business with All Floors, be advised. If you proceed, my advice is to give them a very short leash and time frame to complete your project otherwise you run the risk that it will take on a life of its own with no acceptable ending.

.

After the work was done I was very disappointed.

Large gaps in joints, some of our original already installed wood has a couple holes here and there. Dropped tools perhaps?

Some of the planks are much lower than the one right next to the other. Almost the entire area worked on is like this ,one board is higher and one is lower, etc.

Dust all over our brand new copier not to mention all the other stuff that had so much sawdust all over it. , if only I had know the mess they would have made I simply would have covered it with a bed sheet.
I haven't bothered to see if our copier even makes good copies now it's probably so infused with saw dust.

Overall it looks like a butched job .

Not to mention one of the installers was a little bit rude and kind of a smart ass.

If only the work was excellent I'd totally be fine with the punk attitude , but the work was pretty bad.

Since we didn't have a large area to be installed I didn't wanna bother with calling the office or even asking them to fix it I just wanted to be done with All Floors of Orlando and we'll just get someone else to do it right.

In fact to this day I have not told either the installers or the main office of my dissatisfaction.

Maybe this was just a fluke , but I will not suggest them to friends, family or others.

Though we did not purchase any items at this establishment, the service and attention we received from the associates was excellent.
We had measurements on hand and even though we explained that we were "just looking" we were never pressured or made feel that we were not worth assisting.
That alone, in my book, is great customer service.
We will be purchasing from them in the near future.
