We have been going to Tokyo Japanese Steak House for over a year now and really love it.
The food and atmosphere are great. I agree with the other poster about Tatsu.
We always request him, in fact I call ahead just to make sure he is working.

The other chefs are good, but he is the best. He has a great personality and pays
extra attention to children. He even cuts their food up smaller.

I also get filet and lobster and it is great every time.
The other poster said something about not enough noodles,
I also request extra noodles :)

The food is marginal and often times over cooked. It lacks creativity and the show is always the same...

This is absolutely my husband and my favorite Japanese steakhouse-style restaurant. We have been to Kobe's and Arigatos and found the chicken at both places a bit "rubbery". Not the case here. We love the food at Tokyo and have even come to know and be known by a few of the chefs. (Like our own little Japanese style "Cheers") I especially recommend Tatsu (sp?!) He is the best chef we have had and is definitely the most personable chef that we have had at any of the Japanese steakhouses.

We found the Steak House when driving out that way one day. We decided to stop and we are glad we did. We have been there several times since and are planning on going tonight. The food is great the chefs are very good and they interact with the customers a lot. It is a nice clean place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good food at fair prices.

We eat teppan frequently and our kids love it. The decor at Tokyo is very modern, not gloomy and dark like many others in the area. I have had 4 different chefs and they are all full of personality and preparation skills. I like that they have a sushi bar as well, although I have not yet tried the sushi.

This place had potential. It's fish were fresh and the combinations were great with one exception: everything seemed to have "crab" in it, of which I absolutely am NOT a fan. To top that off, our service was terrible. The hostess was a sweetie though, which almost made up for it.
I'm in the service industry too, so I am pretty acceptable of bad service, but this was TERRIBLE. We sat for a good fifteen minutes before our server greeted us from the kitchen. She only had two other tables, one of which was at the bar...
I can honestly say that I will never return to this place.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and must say I love it! The service is excellent they are very interactive with the diners and they make sure you enjoy it.. the food is very good too - I recommend the steak and chicken and extra yum yum sauce! The only minor thing is they do not give nearly enough noodles... like Kobe does... but other than that its 5 stars - great for families, a date, a girls or guys night out, the business crowd, etc.. classy yet comfortable!

The restaurant is clean, the decor is modern, and the tables are state of the art which means no loud exhaust fans or cook smoke blowing in your face as the chef prepares your meal!

The restaurant is tucked into a little plaza and not really visible from the main roads. The only reason we even knew of it's existence was because of a coupon we found in the Brandon Clipper magazine.

We've eaten at Tokyo several times now and have been impressed with the quality and quantity of food prepared for us each time. This is definitely a Hibachi restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice atmosphere, good food and a great price.
