Gustavo Briand Studio

A co worker of mine recommended this place to me, for my boyfriend to get his haircut at. It's actually pretty pricey! but I'd say it was well worth the money! It was a GREAT haircut, the service & Gustavo were all nice (offer you coffee or water as you wait, etc). The atmosphere is REALLY clean and friendly. Gustavo was EXCELLENT! We will definetely be back for him again! I myself will get a haircut with Gus next week. The bad thing is that we had to park on the street. If you ever have to park on the street, make you you're on top of paying your meter, those parking ticketers will REALLY be on the watch out there!

I had my hair cut for the first time from Gustavo at his Salon. All my friends love my hair! I got so many compliments. I absolutely love it, and its easy to do by myself! It's a much needed improvement for me. My hair has been so plane jane for too long. I finally decided why not try something new. One of the girls in my yoga class said she gets her hair done at Gustavo's so I decided to try it. The salon is conveniently located around the corner from the Venetian Cwy and Purdy Ave, so it's easy to get to. From the moment I got in, the staff were really friendly. Gustavo's assistant Matthew took care of me from the moment I entered until the time I checked out. It was a great salon experience for me and a change that I needed badly. Thanks to Gustavo and his gracious staff I am no longer looking and feeling blah. I will go back again, and also thinking about the Keratine Relaxer, I will let you know.

For him to understand exactly the hair cut I wanted and to make it a reality made my experience at GBS so much better. All of the compliments and attention I received after my GBS experience made me so happy. I have tried so many different salons but could never find the right hair dresser who would take the time and listen to my hair needs. Gustavo not only put a lot of effort and detail into my hair-cut, the conversation left me inspired and both made me feel so much younger.

I have been going to Gustavo's for over a year now. Every visit the service is impeccable and my haircuts are great, it is very difficult to find a good barber in Miami. The staff there is more than accommodating and are not only professional, but friendly. I have even bought gift certificates for my employees and everyone has been beyond satisfied. All in all, it has taken me many years to find a great haircut, and the atmosphere helps too.

I've been in the Miami area for almost 10 years, and hadn't ever managed to find a stylist that I was completely happy with. I was mildly satisfied by some, and , frankly, horrified by others (Why don't stylists listen to their customers?!). Anyway, that all changed last week when I saw Gustavo at Gustavo Briand Studio. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, and proceeded to give me exactly that. My hair looks perfect, it's just the shade I wanted, and the haircut looked great when he was done and looks even better a week later! What was also very important to me was the way I felt so relaxed. The salon has a laid-back atmosphere and everyone is super-friendly.

On top of all of that, I spent less at Gustavo Briand Studio than I have at pretty much every other salon I've visited! (Even the horrifying ones)

Ok first off... I was so confused on where to go considering there are about a million hair salons in Miami. So I did a little reading here on city search, I read alot of the reviews and came to the decision of trying sit still.
I have coarse long hair and its always hard to find someone who knows how to control the frizz. I was introduced to the brazillian blowout by the most amazing stylist "Gustavo" . The process was about 2 hours and OMG I can not even describe the restult. My hair is baby soft...smooth...no frizz and best of all i didnt even need my hair cut because it smoothed out those ends. AMAZING...ok im sending everyone I know to "Gustavo Briand Studio". The experience was fantastic ...everyone was friendly from my initial greeting to the kind person who kept looking after me.

Patricia is meticulous--she spent two hours on me and gave me the best haircut I've ever had. I brought in a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and it ended up looking exactly how I wanted it! Take it from someone who has tried like every salon in south florida...you won't get service like this anywhere else!

I first visited Gustavo Briand after thoroughly reading all of the reviews on CitySearch and I was not disappointed. I loved the family atmosphere that greeted me upon entering the studio and how I was treated as an important guest. I had the pleasure of working with Cristian for color and Patricia for my cut. Never before had I experienced such a team effort between a colorist and stylist and the results showed what a powerful combination it is. Oh, and they use natural products that will not damage your hair or the environment.

I have been back 3 times to Gustavo Briand and every time I visit, I am treated with the same attention as the first time. Moreover, I always leave knowing that my hair style/color is exactly what I was looking for even though I may not have been able to articulate it clearly when I arrived there. My last visit on Saturday has resulted in a major transformation in my look (color, style and length) and every client in the studio complimented me on my look, not to mention my family and friends.

It is amazing what the right color and cut can do for your self-esteem when other people stop to appreciate your hair and mention how it makes your face look like it is glowing. Who knew that when I walked out of Gustavo Briand, that I would have walked out not only with gorgeous hair, but also a glowing and bright complexion!

Please, check out Gustavo Briand and I assure you that when you pay the bill, you know that was well worth every penny!

About two months ago I could not stand my hair. It was medium brown and curly/wavy. The bottom layer was extremely damaged as a result of me straightening it and i had probably about 90% split ends. I have also been trying to dye my hair red from a box for the past year or two but the color was never what I wanted. At Gustavo Briand, Cristian did an amazing job on the color. He did a full head of color with highlights and lowlights. He made it look very natural and the color has been as vibrant as it was two months ago. Patricia styled my hair. I brought in a picture of a cut i thought would look great, but she took the time to explain to me why the cut wouldn't be manageable for my hair type. She did her own version of the style in the picture and made it fit me. The results were even better than the picture.

Pros: the best haircut and color i have ever had.

Cons: a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

Don't go here. It is over-priced and i received sub-optimal care for my hair. The service i got did NOT fit with ALL those postive reviews. i read all the positive reviews and thought this would be a great place to go. in the reviews they talk about how they care about your hair and give you great consultations. NOT TRUE. i had very damaged hair and a very bad haircut and i went in and instead of giving me a holistic hair consult, they set me up with the color guy who tried to sell me the $400 brazilian straightening treatment (that i had read warnings about due to the formaldyhyde which is cancer causing) and told me that my hair looked bad just bc it was frizzy. he gave me an overpriced washout treatment that he said would last 4 wks and only lasted 2 1/2. i had to ASK for an additional conditioning treatment bc i had come in telling them that my hair was damaged. they didn't cut it, didn't care to. well, after my overpriced temporary color washed out my hair was just as bad as before. i went to a salon in coral gables and the person there really helped gave me a cut that would wear better in the miami weather. and the coral gables salon also told me about the cons of the brazilian treatment (it loses efficacy after the first time, so the second time it doesn't straighten as well). something that these guys at Gustavo Briand never bothered to do.

I brought a picture into the Gustavo briand Studio and I left with the haristyle i had imagined. Gustavo spent about two hours personally making my hair look exactly like the picture and he even stayed until 7:40, 40 minutes past closing, making sure it was perfect. The service was incredible, i felt more like a guest than a costumer and Gustavo was sincerely interested in my ideas for the haricut as well as friendly. I'm so glad I chose to get my hair cut here. I?ve been hunting for a good hair stylist since I first move here. Finally I have found it, not only it offers the best stylists with the best techniques but also they are as friendly as it can be? I am truly amazed with my hair style and the treatment, I feel like a new person. I will definitely come back again, Thank you guys for your friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. I told the woman there i did not want to cut my hair too short. i just wanted layers in the front. I got layers throughout my hair and although she did not cut the bottom bottom portion of my hair everything else was completely layered and short. She did not listened to me at all. she just did her own thing. I think her name was patricia. Horrible haircut. My hair is all chopped up!

Last week my aunt took me to get my hair cut and dyed by a hairstylist named Patricia.
My hair is naturally wavy curly and short,when I walked in it was above my shoulders and very boxy
looking very boring and one length everywhere around.It was also very uneven Patricia fixed everything!
Made it even gave me a funky hip hairstyle wiith lots of layers all around and made me like my hair
even the way it looks when it's wavy/curly! I love the way it looks now. All the hair stylists that work there
are very nice and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend anyone looking for a haircut to go see Patricia at Gustavo Briand studio.

I had my hair cut last month before going on a cruise. Patricia did my hair. She is an amazing hair stylist! I am extremely picky and have a complex cut, in that it requires a lot of layering. She did a beautiful job and I couldn't be happier. The level of professionalism at the salon was excellent, everyone was very kind. I will definitely be going back for a trim and mabe some color!

Gustavo Briand is by far the best coloring experience I have ever had. I went in a bit worried because I had a horrible experience with color at a salon here in Coral Gables which is supposed to be one of the best. I found a place that fixed it, the John Barrett Salon, but it is in New York City! I was close to flying there yesterday just to get my highlights done but then I found Gustavo Briand. I left the Gustavo Briand Hair Studio with better quality hair than when I walked in, even after doing more highlights!! I will never go to another colorist again if I can help it. The staff is fun and entertaining to say the least and Gustavo is truely an artist. The color itself looks completely natural...I went from brunette to blonde and it's impressive to say the least. I've only had it for one day and everyone I've run into is amazed at how real and healthy it looks. My hair feels like it did before it had been colored! I have been to the most expensive and talked up salons in Miami and New York and I swear by Gustavo Briand! His goal is to color hair without destroying it. He even uses special foam sheets instead of aluminum foil for highlights to save the environment. It was my first time with him so he explained his philosophy and that he buys the best quality products, despite the cost. He feels it really makes a difference, and it does. I was amazed. He is, in my experience, the best! If you are looking for fantastic color, and a great experience, this is the place to go!

Gustavo Briand Studio is without a doubt the most amazing salon ever! I went to them for a corrective color procedure to change my hair color from black to brown (which is almost chemically impossible to achieve in one visit), and it came out absolutly perfect! You have to go see Cristian the next time you color your hair.... and for the best haircut to go with the perfect hair color, go see Patricia. Everyone there is so attentive and super sweet! You will be amazed with how great your hair looks!

I've never been so impressed with a haircut before. When I went into Gustavo Briand Studio, my hair was a hot mess. It had been cut so poorly, so many times, it was difficult to see the potential that my hair had. I sat down with Patricia, and after she heard what I wanted in a haircut, she whipped up something FAB-U-LOUS. I walked out of the studio feeling like a new person. Everyone was so incredibly nice and they made you feel right at home. I'm never going any place else.

I have been long searching for a stylist that knows how to work with long curly/wavy hair and I finally found someone at this salon. I went to see Patricia after reading the countless reviews on here, and I have to say that she did not disappoint! She took her time with my hair and did a fantastic job. I also have to say that she spent some time before my haircut discussing my hair and what I wanted to do....which you would think all hair dressers would do, but incredibly never happens. All in all the experience was perfect!! The salon is beautiful and everyone was lovely and super friendly. EVERYONE!! Really truly what a salon experience should always be.

I was hesitant to write this but I feel I must be honest. Although I feel Patricia is a wonderful person and hair dresser. I returned to this salon again for a second time in November and I was disappointed. I wanted a few layers in the front, but I left with choppy layers throughout my hair. I didn't say anything when I was there because I wanted to give myself time to maybe adjust to the cut. But, it's been 2 1/2 months and I hate my hair. Please, please be sure that you keep your eyes on her and be very specific about exactly how you want your hair. I tend to like more classic cuts since I have long hair and I feel I got a cut that was technically very good, but better suited for straight hair. Not wavy/curly hair like mine.

I was afraid after some bad previous esperiences with my hair to get a hair cut at a new place, so I did some research for Top Hair Salon and Gustavo Briand Studio came about. I called them first and to my surprised Gustavo himself answered the phone, very politly. I got an appointment the same day I called, had to make some changes to my appointment time and again nicely enough they did not give me a hassel and they let me go in anyways. But the best was PATRICIA, my hair stylist, for the firts time ever someone was able to cut my wavy hair to a style that I liked, she took her time and did A GREAT JOB. I Totally Recomend her, I'll never let anyone else cut my hair!!!

I had been looking for a while for a place that does excellent cuts with very wavy, medium curly hair. I found THE best stylist at Gustavo Briand salon. Went to see specifically Patricia in mid July - she was awesome. Precision cuts, didn't create "pouffiness" or the "mushroom effect" you often get with very wavy hair that goes shorter, and she really listened and took her time.

Gustavo was also there doing another client's hair and the banter between them and me and the other client was great - felt like making great friends. Ask for Patricia if you want an amazing cut!!! Loved it even after I washed it and now weeks later!!

Pros: Precision cut by Patricia!!

Cons: A bit pricey so I cant come every 8-10 weeks! Metered parking is a pain...

I had a great experience at the Gustavo Briand Studio Salon. I was looking for a stylist to help me tame my crazy hair. I have thick hair and a lot of it, and it has recently been relaxed and treated with a Brazillian treatment. While the curl and frizz have mellowed out some, my hair had NO shape. I was walking around with what I referred to as a bird's nest. I'm not painting a pretty picture, but needless to say, scrunchies and headbands were my security blankets. I wanted a style that would enable me to wear my hair curly- natural and also blow-dry straight. I don't mind spending time working on my hair a couple of days a week, but I did also want something that would be an alternative, natural and low-maintenance, chic look. It didn't take very long for me to realize that I felt very at ease in Patricia's expert hands. She was very meticulous, measuring out her perfect layers. She was lovely and with boundless patience. Also, I Never had anyone tame my hair with just a paddle brush! She didn't use a round brush, nor did she use a flat iron. I knew that I had found the right stylist, and I feel very fortunate to have found this little gem of a place.

I LOVE GUSTAVO'S SALON! Seriously! My hair was the darkest brown, pretty much black before. I went to some guy where I live here in Port Charlotte, FL. I wanted a dirty/sandy blond again. My hair use to be all blond a year and a half ago. He told me it was no problem and RUINED my hair! He turned it Orange =[ I looked like a tiger with black and orange stripes. On top of that, he promised he would fix it and begged me to return. I felt like I had no choice so I did... and he ruined my hair even more! My hair was FRIED at the ends.. My hair that was once sooo long and silky.. was destroyed =[ I cried for days I had to wear a hat. So I told myself I was going to the best salon in Miami. I figured someone there HAD to fix my hair some what. So I found Gustavo's here on City Search under best color and highlights. I drove 3 hours to to see Gustavo and his AMAZING salon! And it was MORE then worth it! CRISTIAN did my hair... it took so long, but he did it! HE FIXED IT. My hair was a beautiful soft dirty blond! TONS of natural highlights! PATRICIA cut off all the damaged hair and styled it, she did a PERFECT job. The team at Gustavo's salon are ALL kind, warm, funny, wonderful people. They are NOT stuck up at all. I felt so at home there. Unfortunately I didn't tip them enough =[ no where near what they should of gotten! I'll fix that when I see them again =] And that will be very soon. I told myself I would go to Miami once to get my all over hair fixed, then find another salon that was some what closer to just get my roots done... but I just can't bring myself to doing that. One month after my visit and my hair is looking better than ever. This was one of the best cuts I ever had: Gustavo listened carefully as I described my lifestyle and the way I wanted my hair to look and act. He was able to perfectly execute my requests, and his suggestion for a slight tweak in color had an equally good result. A haircut and color at this salon is on my must-do list for my next trip to Miami.

It is certainly not easy to find the right salon and even harder to find the right stylist. Well, you will be pleased to find all that you are looking for at Gustavo Briand Studio, I certainly did! This relaxing, quaint yet chique atmosphere allows you to be at ease the moment you walk in.

I was aprehensive about trying out a new place and person, after all, I've to got live with the cut. To my delight, the raving reviews were all true and I was quickly put at ease. Patricia welcomed me, gave me a consulation (she was right on point) and was extremely easy to talk to and a great listener (essencial factors that are often missing in other salons). It was evident, this girl knows her stuff!!

Her attention to detail, functionality and style really made me appreciate the profession. She was an artist at work (no BS, she truly is great) and made me feel so transformed it was fantastic!! That day I could have walked a runway. Even more impressive, she showed me how to keep my hair looking salon sassy with no effort -- Wow... it is so great to get keep haircut looking as good as the day you got it.

Enough said, GO TO Gustavo Briand Studio -- comfort, professionalism, friendliness and your new reliable stylist all in one ---it is all worth it!!

I just wanted to say thank you to Patricia, Gustavo and the wonderful staff at Gustavo Briand. I moved to Miami from New York a year ago and have been unhappy with all my friends recommendations (i guess im a bit of a hair snob), so i must say how relieved I was to find this place. Ive only been once, but Im already addicted. The place is very small so they are able to focus all their attention on their clients and their attention to detail is remarkable. Patricia spent nearly an hour and a half cutting my hair just right, Now if I could only find a good dentist...

I don?t know how Cristian managed to style my hair in ways I never thought I could imagine, He seems to get the exact color that I request. I have had my hair done at many salons and I have never been able to have a consistent stylist because at some point something goes wrong, either my hair comes out orange or very damaged.
My hair has never looked as shiny and healthy as it does now, since I have been going to G.B. If you are looking for stylists that are dedicated to give you the look that you want, then check out Gustavo Briand Studio, and definitely ask for Cristian.

This salon is very small, difficult to find, but the service is excellent.
I have very long curly hair and they really took their time. A friendly guy: Cristian, did my color, which came out beautiful -better than ever-, and Gustavo did my haircut which came out very stylish. I think they are the BEST in town. This was my first time ever going to this Studio, and I am definitely going back. I have recommended this salon to all friends. I can not say enough good things about them, and their prices are very reasonable!

I am very picky about getting my color done, but as soon as I walked in to Gustavo Briand Studio, I new it? they have to be good. First off the atmosphere is great and so are the people working there. Cristian is amazing, he understood exactly what I wanted done with my hair, and picked out an amazing shade for my color. My hair never looked better. I felt like a model with the service that I received. Even though I live about 40 min. away from the salon, I still go for the drive because its really worth it!

Me entere de este salon gracias a esta pagina, ya que soy turista y no tenia ni idea donde arreglarme a ultimo momento un sabado.
El personal fue increible en acomodarme rapidamente, sin haber tenido turno.
El trato fue genial, super amistoso super chevere!
Cristian hizo mi color, y la verdad que fue mejor que el que me hacen siempre en mi pais, me aconcejo super bien con el tono correcto que hace juego con mi piel, cambie totalmente mi color anterior, y todos me dicen que hice un cambio espectacular...gracias Cristian ....estoy anonadada!!! Quisiera poder llevarme la tintura.......y a Cristian tambien!!
Gustavo (el propio duen-o) fue genial, aconcejandome con nuevos estilos muy modernos, y siempre al servicio del cliente, super amable.
La verdad que recomiendo este lugar, y volvere si Dios quiere, siempre que vuelva a South Beach.

I wanted to try something new, so I?ve decided to visit Gustavo Briand salon, since it is winner as best hair, which is located near my house. I?ve asked for an appointment with the creative director. I was then offered service by Gustavo Briand himself. I was pleasantly surprised by his approach during my initial consultation. I gave him full discretion as to the look he wanted to create. From start to finish I was treated to my highest expectation and Gustavo transformed my look into exactly desired hairstyle. I?m very pleased that I was able to find someone who has a vision and who knows how to create appropriate finish for ones face. I?m recommending him to everyone who wants to evolve his or her hairstyle to the next level.

I read all of the reviews this people got, I went this morning to have my hair cut and color.
The moment you walk in you feel at ease and welcome.
The LONG consultation made me dizy, but I finally got that what I wanted was very cool, but not what I needed.
I play in a band, and need something very versatile for my office work.
Well done, Patricia gave me a great cut & Cristian gave me an owesome color.
Gustavo the owner was very nice.
At lunch time my co-workers filled me with compliments, my girlfriend is in Tokio and saw me via messenger and loves the change.
Will come back for sure.

I was fortunate enough to bump into Gustavo Briand Studio, I went to so many places in Miami and Miami Beach, one despointment after the other.
Cristian did my color and highlights, and Gustavo did my haircut.
The color I got was so beautifull, the higlights so delicate and natural.
The haircut was magical to say the list, I dont even have to style it anymore, I just towel dry it and I get compliments, lol
Also, I never been to a salon in which the owner Gustavo was so attentive, cared for me, and game water and went personally to buy my lunch at Joe Allens, it took several hours but was worth it, oh, they have WIFI, I was able to do my work on my laptop. Thank you guys, you trully got a costumer for life.
I you are reading this review, please just go to this guys, they know what are they doing.

my girlfriend went in and got her hair done by the owner, he did such a terrible job on her hair that she was depressed and crying about it all night, she's a beautiful olive skinned beauty, this guy made her hair pale white on top of that the hair is very dry, it seems unrepairable, beware of these people, they dont know what they are doing....

I have been other salons listed on City Search's top 5, and this salon is the only one that blew me away! Much to my surprise, I called Gustavo's around 11am and got an appointment on the same day for color, highlights, cut &style... I was nervous as I walked into his beautiful salon and thought that I would be greeted with snooty looks, and have to deal with a bigheaded stylist... I could never have been more wrong! Everyone in this salon is so down to earth, and truly genuine.

When I got there I had this idea to go blonde because I wanted to change my look completely. Gustavo looked at my complexion, my dark curly hair, and said, "I don't think that's a good idea." Thank God that I took his advice! Sure, he could have taken my money and just done what I had asked of him, but he was more considerate to what would look good on me and didn't want me to be a slave to my hair. Patricia is a master cutter! It has been a month since she cut my hair, and I still get compliments on it! I know this may sound weird, but my hair is actually longer now than when I first went in!

They were all very attentive to my needs. They worried about the time I had left on my car, and put more quarters in it for me; they even brought me this amazing panini for lunch. I love this place, and I will definitely come back... this time I will talk Gustavo into going just a little lighter. lol

Pros: Feels like they are your personal hairdressers!

It was difficult leaving my premier hairdresser of 6 yrs as I moved from NYC to Miami Beach (husband's just-don't-understand...). I visited one with the disappointing result of waiting a month to grow-out the damage-done.
I was relieved and elated to discover The Gustavo Briand Studio. I relax and permit his artistic creativity design a style complimenting my face and personality.
Each perfection cut permits me to look good awaking and most importantly, after that first 'tell-all' shampoo (know-you-know what I'm talk'n 'bout). Six weeks later and still look'n fine.
Got my compliments from husband, friends and strangers. Definitely found my place!

If you are looking to let out that inner diva that has been dying to come out, Gustavo will find it. His talent with hair is equally matched by his innate kindness and warm spirit. I met Gustavo at a New World Symphony function (I used to play bassoon in the orchestra) after a concert at the Carnival Center. We chatted it up at the bar and he was very friendly and told me I should come in and get a haircut. Little did I know I was going to enter a pristine atmosphere fine Italian furniture, beautiful sparkling floors and a perfect chandelier that gives it that extra touch of class. At Gustavo Briand studios only the best of quality is found and as an artist I know how to discern the difference. I regard Gustavo more than just my hairstylist but also as a friend. I don't live in Miami Beach anymore but whenever I am down there, I make sure to visit him because it is not every day you feel like a million bucks. Thank you Gustavo for all the wonderful memories!!!

Situated in a more quiet and sophisticated area of Miami Beach, The Gustavo Briand Studio is comprised of all the essential qualities you'd expect to see in a timidly humble Miami Beach salon. You're greeted with smiles and charisma from every angle, something that's only followed by a soothing shampoo and offer of a cool beverage. The decor is quaint and minimalist, and you almost feel like you're in a miniature New York style hair-salon. Now fellas, don't be shy if you don't consider yourself the most artistically inclined individual, or if you really have nothing to say about incoming and outgoing hair trends. I guess this is one of the things I worry about most when I want to indulge in some more upscale enviornments. Trust me when I say, you're not going to be surrounded by a hoard of snooty elitists, and you will most definitely not get the face of death when you say "well I'd just like a trim". Instead, consider it a place where the locals like to keep it their little secret. A place where they can casually walk in and be certain that their stylists KNOW hair. In regards to the stylists themselves, Patricia as was especially kind and tending to my needs. She made sure that she delivered the cut that I wanted, instead of styling my hair the way that she wanted to (which is probably the most common complaint about a hair stylist). Overall guys, if you're looking for class, professionalism, and just a simply thorough hair-cut, search no longer, Gustavo Briand Studio is ready to make you look your best!

I booked an appointment with Gustavo to fix a bad haircut. I have very thick, wavy hair that currently isn't in the best condition, even after cutting off over 12" last fall. I spent hours reading many salon reviews and felt most confident with calling his salon. Much to my happiness, Gustavo came in 45 minutes earlier than the salon normally opens so I could pick up my husband at the airport on time later that morning.
I left the style in Gustavo's hands and I am pleased with what he did. I have many different options on how I can wear it. The atmosphere was very comfortable, I enjoyed our conversations and I felt he gave me great customer service. The cost was about twice what I have paid in the past at other salons but my expectations of getting what I was paying for were met.
I haven't been complimented on my hair since two years ago...until last week. The day after I saw Gustavo I was on a two hour boat tour in the Key West in very windy conditions (so windy the captain couldn't go to the reef they normally do in the Atlantic). I didn't have time to wash or really style my hair that day and then took a short nap on the 4 hour drive home before stopping at a grocery store around 9 PM. I was very surprised to have the woman behind me compliment me on my hair after all that. Made me feel quite nice!
Thank you Gustavo for an all-over wonderful experience and cut! I'll be back.

I have lived in Miami for a year and a half and tried many of the salons listed on this "Best of" site. I had so many "worst cuts of my life" experiences, I was beginning to loose hope. It was only adding to my belief that true quality in anything is lacking in Miami. Anyway, I was wrong. Gustavo's is the real deal. Pactricia is great. She really listened. She asked questions to better understand what I wanted in a cut. She spent time with me and worked to make each hair perfect. She and Gustavo were trained in the Vidal Sasoon precision cutting manner, which I love, and they have created a salon that is tailored to the client and customer service. They care very much about giving you the haircut of your dreams. You can tell that they have integrity and a belief that each cut represents their product. Not only did I feel welcomed, listened to, and knew that I had Patricia's undivided attention, but I realized I also had a talented, well-trained, perfectionist trying to make me as beautiful and as happy as she could---the perfect combination. This salon is the whole package. I will definitely be back. Thank you Patricia for your commitment to quality and to making me feel comfortable and beautiful. I can't wait for my next visit :)

By far the best salon I have been to. I have lived in Miami for over 20 years and I have never been treated with such care and expertise at a salon. Gustavo is a master of color....my highlights are amazing and so natural...he did them so meticulously and carefully, I was very impressed....not like other places where they are hurrying to get to the next customer...my haircut after five weeks looks like I just got it cut...the staff is very professional and skilled. Everyone is very nice and always attentive to your needs, whether it be food, beverage, temperature, comfort...altogether a FABULOUS visit. I highly recommend this salon.

Wow i love my new haircut .And I love this place what mello and refreshing vibe. And I can't say enough about Gustavo he's my new hair GURU Iove him toke such good care of me while i was there he was very attentive trough the consultation and the haircut was perfection .It making me anticipate my next visit go right now before everyone else gets there (they will I'll make sure of it )

I have had long hair ever since I can remember, and I recently decided I was over due for a change. I found the salon online after searching for a month and reading the great reviews about the salon and it's stylists...especially Patricia. As soon as I walked through the salon door I was promptly greated by the friendly staff and made to feel as if I was at home. Patricia was personable and was genuinely interested in giving me a haircut that would coincide which my daily activities, personality, and face shape. I explained to her that I wanted a change from my usual long locks and she suggested a Bob style hair cut. I thought the idea was great and put my trust in her. My haircut with Patricia went magnificent to say the least, and I can honestly say I've never had a cut so detailed. She cut it while wet, and then after blowdrying it, she went back and perfected her masterpiece. What she did for me and my hair was a transformation, I came out looking 100% new and improved. What I loved the most, aside from my new look, was Patricia's professionalism and how she truly made cutting hair into an art. I will be going back to her for my future haircuts, for there is no one else I'd trust to cut my hair from now on. Thank you Patricia!!
