Mozzarella Italian Take Out

This is an AMAZING authentic Italian take-out with a few quaint dine-in tables for lunch and early dinner. Everything made fresh daily, from cioppino (seafood soup) to pasta, lasagna, risotto, and ravioli. There are also mouth-watering desserts like tiramisu, which Italian and Venezuelan owner-chefs Rossella and Jos call "frenes" ("frenzy"--and it will send you straight into one!). Incredibly reasonable prices for absolutely delicious food--a full lunch/dinner for $10. A treasure for those in the know!!

I'm happy to be the first to review this restaurant because the food is not like my mother's food....it IS my mother's food! Traditional Italian recipes mixed with an exotic flavor by Jose', an expert in Asian and tropical spices; I highly recommend the classic lasagna, risotto and ravioli of any kind and the 'cioppino' (sea soup). Day specials are always different and creative; and then my favorite ever: the FRENESI'; chocolate and tropical are delicious..'hope you enjoy it as much as i do!
