Our server, Erin, was very attentive but never annoying. We casually mentioned to the host that it was our anniversary and at the end of the meal we received a delicious piece of the house chocolate cake which was amazing. The atmosphere was great (roof was closed due to rain, but still open air) and live music was tasteful. We would definitely return when in Miami.

Pros: Bruchetta, fettuchini w/ filet mignon

This is the most popular lunch place for local bigwigs. It is set up in a 120 year old barn! With recipes handed down from generation to generation - it is no wonder that they are always crowded. The homemade minestrone is amazing!

I went to Perricone's looking for a nice italian restaurant to a Sunday lunch. I found a nice place with a small market in the main entrance. The valet service was reasonable for the region ($4). When I ordered the food, I figured out an expensive place that serves frozen foods. I ordered a lasagna and my wife a gnochi four cheese. Our order took no more than 8-10 minutes to arrive. The lasagna and the gnochi were heavy and the taste was similar to frozen foods found in the supermarket. I don't recommend at all.

We arrived half soaked and half starved, shaking the water off from our coats and shirts. We waited for about 10 minutes before being seated, after which, the staff waited on us promptly and generously.

I didn?t sample the wine, although other guests were drinking it glass after glass, so it must have been good. At $50 per bottle, I hope it was.

While taking our party?s order, one of the servers made a flirtatious innuendo towards my client ? while her husband was right next to her taking care of their baby. I think he was trying to be friendly, but he clearly had no tact.

I ordered the Fettuccini Filet Mignon ($16) ? a nice, sensible item on the menu. When my entree arrived, I received a soupy, dark pasta with strips and bits of beef, red peppers and feta cheese. It didn?t appear quite as appetizing as I thought it would, until I tasted the meat ? it was uneatable.

Quite frankly, I was starving, so I ate the fettuccini by itself, and left all the meat and its accessories on the side of the plate. I then called our server and politely told him he should tell the chef to check on his meat before cooking it.

He and another gentleman quickly apologized, and removed the meal from our the bill, so I have to give them a high mark on service. But, honestly, if I go back to Perricone?s again, I will not order any dish with meat ? unless I?m in company of a brave soul who wants to try it before I do.

Check out a little thing called Goat Cheese Salad and you'll thank me later. Great restaurant. Frequented by all the locals and some celebs as well. The food and the service are great. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Miami area. Only thing that bothers me is the limited parking in the area, but they have valet so it's not so bad, besides it's the nature of the beast in Brickell. If you like fish try their Yellowfin Tuna Steak rare.

I just have to say that this place is great. It's a total dining experience from the moment you step in. The marketplace displays great wines, beautiful desserts and lots of "yummy" italian treats. The service is excellent and the food is even more. You can't go wrong with any of the daily specials. Order the traditional Sunday Sauce, you will not be dissapointed. Fish is always fresh and done with a "twist". Desserts are a good thing but their home made gelato is incredible.

Pros: Valet Parking, Great value

Cons: Crowded at lunch

Perricone's Marketplace was excellent-the service was attentive to our needs, and the food was phenominal-save room for dessert!!! The setting is very romantic, and the ambience is great. The restaurant itself is built from an old barn that was disassembled in Vermont and moved to South Florida. The menu was diverse enough to please everyone. Worth the trip from Fort Lauderdale!!

Although the food at Perricone's can be somewhat average. The atmosphere here makes up for it. The restaurant is partly made up of an old restored barnyard imported from somewhere in the midwest. A clear plastic tent offers additional seating in an air-conditioned environment. While the lush vegetation around you resembles a tropical forest. The ravioli is always fresh and the prociuto sandwhich is a favorite.

Nestled right off Brickell Avenue on South Miami Avenue, this gourmet marketplace has some of the best Italian food in South Florida. It is not just spaghetti and meatballs at this eatery. The garden seating is fabulous as is the indoor rustic Miami decor. Enjoy!
