We took a vehicle here to have a State Inspection done to get a new sticker on one of our vehicles. The so-called mechanic was going to fail the car for a part that was supposedly leaking, which was not in fact leaking. My husband and I check over our vehicles ourselves and with the help of our fathers who are both mechanics before we ever take a vehicle in for State Inspections, especially now since this happened. We knew this vehicle had no issues and there was no reason for it to fail. Needless o say, when we threated to call the DOT to have them come and inspect the vehicle. That of course, caused a sticker to be put on our vehicle and we were on our way.

We also had tires put on a vehicle, once, by this company at another location. One of the tires was going flat less than a week after it was put on so we went back to have the problem fixed, they were going to charges us almost the full price on a warranteed tire to have it fixed because of the "wear" we put it on it.

So needless to say we do not take our vehicles here to have ANY service done whatsoever.

We also know someone who use to work for VIP and left because they were telling him to "find" things wrong with vehicles that came in for service so that tey could sell people parts and service. His manager constantly reprimanded him for actually being helpful to customers and he finally quite and got a job with a much more reputible company.
