This is a wonderful preschool! The teachers are so warm and loving and the parents are involved with their children's education. I have three children and all three went to BCP. When my oldest was two we went to the open house and he loved it so much he didn't want to leave. All the parents help in the classroom once or twice a month and serve on a committee. It really creates a sense of community. We all work together to make the preschool great. I served working on the web site and on the monthly newsletter and as the secretary (each in a different year). The children love it too. My children all learned valuable kindergarten readiness skills: how to share, use nice words, and get along with others. Academics are strong too. The teacher for the older class (4 and 5 year olds) teaches the kids sign language and they learn the alphabet, counting, calendar, pre-reading skills like rhyming and they are read to at every circle time. The kids love the crafts and painting and playdough! The field trips are great too. In kindergarten there aren't any field trips (or maybe just one) but in this preschool there is a field trip nearly every month. We've been to the pumpkin patch, the zoo, the Discovery Center science museum, the fire station, and Public Television station, just to name a few. Wonderful school. I could go on and on!

Pros: Great environment, parent involvement, good kindergarten prep, low price

Cons: Takes time commitment from parents or other family members
