I'm sorry, but the two guys who wrote that prices are too high/unfair are either idiots or liars. I think that they must have a store that can't compete, so they lie. This week, I bought SP Legendary Cuts at Jerry's for $32 LESS than I could find on the Internet, including ebay, D&A, and Blowout. Two weeks ago, I bought a Jumbo Hobby Bowman BB box for $125, and it is selling on-line for $250. Jerry's gets the newest items at the fairest prices. No need to shop anywhere else.

Best store. Great selection and prices. I bought UFC KO for $20 a box less than the best price on ebay! Made a trade on $1600 worth of cards that I didn't want for $1200 worth of cards that I wanted. Good service.

I read a couple of reviews, and based on my experience, the last couple of guys didn't really get to know the shop. Yes, cards are marked at the high Beckett price, but are always sold between 25 and 50% off which I find competitive with e-bay. New wax is sold at suggested retail and discounted by the box. Yes, you can find wax cheaper on the internet, but you are taking a chance and you have to wait. And for a shop to survive, the price is fair (why do you think all other shops in the area went out of business?) The owner is not a jerk; he is actually a nice guy if you get to know him. He works with the area in programs like Toys for Tots, donates lots of stuff to charity, gives away the free packs to kids who bring in report cards, and will trade up to even value for the right cards. He also helps keep the hobby alive by being the only one in the area to bother putting together Card Shows. If you like the hobby, you will like this store.

It's the last card shop that I am aware of in Boise, so you don't have a lot of options. I've been to card shops in Denver, Salt Lake, and Seattle that are all much better. He only offers boxes and packs of products that immediately came out. No older products to speak of. His trading policy is ridiculously bad, beckett low-price for his high-price. His box prices are outrageous as well, soaring above shops in other cities and the internet. You don't have any other options, unfortunately. Very small shop, sky high prices, wouldn't recommend.

Jerry's Rookie Shop sells a full assortment of Sports and NonSports cards at SRP per pack, and gives a Discount on full boxes. Jerry's also gives a 25% to 50% Discount on single cards, and is always willing to consider trades. Service is great! Highly recommended to all collectors.

Jerry's is alright as far as card shops go. He sells sports, nonsports, and some gaming cards at retail prices, and supplies to cover, protect and store cards. They only have a little memoribillia.

They sell cards at high Beckett and buy at low. I walked in, walked around, and walked out after hearing his price policy.

Jerry's Rookie Shop is my favorie card shop. I've visited the others and now will only go to the Rookie Shop. Their prices and selection beats all of the other shops! Don't waste your time by going anywhere else. This is the only shop that I can get all of the newest sports cards and cards like Star Trek and Lost. Check out all of the great single cards. Tons of sports and lots of NonSports autographs and costume cards.

Jerry's Rookie Shop is by far the very best sports trading cards shop in Boise and the entire Idaho area, maybe anywhere! They offer all of the newest cards at prices that usually beats the competition. They keep commons in numerical order to help customers complete sets, and trade on just about all of their single cards. They maintain a fantastic selection of autographed cards, rookie cards, and cards with game-used materials. They also carry a full line of supplies. Nonsport fans can also find a good selection of entertaiment items.

If you are a collector or just a casual buyer, you owe it to yourself to vist Jerry's Rookie Shop. They are located on the corner of State and 31st streets in Boise. 208-338-3828
