I went in for the Memorial Day sale and I was looking for a car. Bu before I saw a car I was being asked to verify my credit worthiness. I have good credit and I was feeling the pressure as soon as I got there. Even after I passed their hurdles on credit, they only showed me 1 car. That was it a parking lot filled with cars and they could only show me one!!! So driving it was part of the deal.. It was nice, used and the only car on the planet I would be buying that day. I chose not to buy! No matter how many times they went to that little back table to arrange a better deal.. lower my rate.. make me a better offer.. I decided that NO was the only answer. It stops being fun after the third time I had to repeat myself. I left feeling like I had made the sales person mad. I wasted over two hours there and my day was pretty much shot except for going into work. I didnt ask the sales person for anything other than to see some cars and see what I could get for my credit score, and what kind of payment could I really afford.
It wasnt till weeks later as the reports of what they had done came in. I went to the computer and ran my credit report to see how many agencies they ran my credit through. They had run them through seven agencies and I am still waiting for more of them to report they denied me credit.
Apparently they submitted my name and credit to MANY other banks to see what deal they could get me. Now most of you should know, every time someone does a credit check on you, your score goes down. And every time someone declines your credit for whatever it is you're applying for, your credit score goes down even more.
Like I said I had good credit when I started this whole mess.. It was about a 680 score.. last report that denied me credit said my rating was 620. Now this is bad everything I have looked at says that if you apply for credit you have 14 days to shop around to get better rates etc. They say your credit score wont be affected. But for some reason this did affect my score by 60 points so far. So before you go to any of their events be sure of your facts and make sure to protect your credit score and dont let them pressure you. Find out your credit score prior to buying a car and dont let them pull your credit report. Dont let them ruin your credit score to satisfy their desire to sell you a car. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I didnt buy the car and running away from them has been the best thing I did. Found a great vehicle for 1500 bucks on craigslist and with 150 dollars in repairs it gets me to and from wherever I need to go. So dont let them logic you into buying an 18 thousand dollar vehicle when all you need is a car that works and is reliable. I saved money just by saying NO! Have a great day.. Chris M. Meridian, ID

Purchased a Mazda 3 about 1 year ago, great car, bad experience.... Decided to try out the service department for the first time (except for the first free oil change) will not have my car serviced there again. Made an appointment to have car looked at for brake problems, dropped it off 9a.m. called 3 hours later for status, was told they would talk to the mechanic and call me back. I never received call, so called back 1.5 hours later for "status of my status", still don't know, and now the mechanic is on lunch break. Decided to drive on over see what is going on, guess what car is still in the drop off area??? Ask service rep what is the deal, she says she doesn't know but will find out. I ask other service rep, he says he drove it and the rotors are warped, I say, Ok, I know, that is what I brought it in for. I ask what the mechanics had to say that I am waiting on status of..... "O, mechanics never looked at the car, I drove it and it has warped rotors." Ok, why didn't I get called to find out what I wanted to do about it, or at least a return call for the 2 times I checked on my car. He says I need to pay to have the rotors fixed. Humm I guess that didn't answer the question.

I talked to the head store manager, He remembers me from the poor experience I had purchasing the vehicle there. He tried to help, but at that point it was way too late. If the service reps can't even return a phone call or tell me about a car parked 6 feet from their desks, I certainly don't want them working on my brakes.

I removed the rotors myself had them turned at NAPA for $10, re-installed, car is fixed about 2 hours of my time..... Well, not including the 7 hours the car sat at TEAM MAZDA!

Sales - Located the vehicle I wanted, deal was made, was told they were going to get my car, TRAILER it back to Nampa and I could pick it up.......guess they didn't think I would notice the extra 500miles on the odometer on my brand new car.

Service - Dropped off vehicle 9am, called for status 3 hours later, was told they would call me back, no call so I called them again 1.5 hours later, now the mechanic is at lunch so they will call me back when he returns. I go there instead find the car hasn't even seen a mechanic but the service rep drove it and agrees with me that the brake rotors are warped. My car still sitting 6 feet from the service reps desk no work done...... no information to me ......I left performed the job myself in under 2 hours..

We will never return to this dealership, how can you trust someone to work on your brakes who can't even return a phone call??

not a very large selection of vehicles to look at. Typical dealership when you want help you can't find it. When you want to look in peace they won't leave you alone. All in all okay if you are looking for a mazda or subaru.

not a very large selection of vehicles to look at. Typical dealership when you want help you can't find it. When you want to look in peace they won't leave you alone. All in all okay if you are looking for a mazda or subaru.
