These Guys are horrible!!! I took My vehicle in for a basic oil change and tire rotation late in 2009 The service guy took almost five minutes to greet me He was ??fake? friendly and somewhat arrogant. He tried to sell me everything under the sun and about the time he was done with his sales pitch he forgot what I came in for. I objected to what he was trying to sell, the 30,000mile service none of which is recommended by Chevrolet until 50,000 miles and even then some of the things he was recommending are not part of Chevrolets recommended services at all!!! So He finally wrote my order for the oil change and tire rotation after asking me ??what are we doing for you again? and he showed me to there waiting room. Only about 20min later I was interrupted from my magazine article to a list of repairs that were needed Axle seal, Transmission pan gasket and, and, and it went on. Now I only have 30,000 miles on my vehicle it is out of warranty by about 4 months when he said he couldn??t help with the expired warranty I refused any additional repairs and ask that he finished my oil change. I did talk to the service manager (and I use that term loosely) Mr. Hos#@n was friendly at first but when confronted with the issues I had regarding the 30,0000 mile service he quickly forgot how to make eye contact and seemed to be distracted by some invisible object above our heads. He proceeded to tell me that all though the 30k as he called it was not recommended by Chevrolet it was recommended by Lithia and it was there policy to advise customers to perform the service. Wow who are they to do that they did not build my truck. Anyway I moved on to the issue of the repairs there service guy was so quick to hit me up for and he said if my warranty was expired there was nothing he could do for me. By this time he was exceedingly rude and rather than explode I held my composure, bit my tongue and left. I will never be back worst experience in my 50 some years only a year or so ago I had a great experience with a young man that worked in service, he??s gone and they have really gone down hill. On a lighter note I tried there competitor across the street (the GMC dealer) and to my surprise the good service guy I mentioned (Neil) is working there now and not only did he warranty the axle seal, the one repair I truly needed out of the five Lithia recommended he took me out to the shop showed me what was leaking and what was not and took the time to make sure I under stood what they were doing. Now that??s service!!! Maybe Lithia should have held on to him and had him train there new stock! And so called Manager!
