My wife and I first came to Balance Through Movement because we knew one of the owners. But we kept coming back for additional sessions because the workouts seem to be just what we need at this point. Improved flexibility, enhanced core strength, and redistribution of body weight are just some of the advantages. Brooke and Sarah are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, patient yet challenging, and they seem to be on the cutting edge, expanding their offerings (Pilates for golf, cardio equipment, etc.) to meet the needs of their clients.

This studio offers brand new equipment, a bright clean space, and excellent instructors. They really learn about your body needs and goals and create lessons to reflect your personal needs. Highly recommended!

When I was first asked about Pilates, I envisioned a Richard Simmons type of guy prancing around in leotards, which was not the type of workout a retired Army guy wants to be associated with. Brooke and Sarah convinced me to give it a shot, and I gave in with reluctance. My first session with Brooke convinced me that no men would be prancing around in leotards. The abdomen workout was one of the best I have ever been though--continual stress, pressure and breathing techniques are just a portion of what I went through. To date, I have had a total of three classes. Each has been different and all have been strenuous. There is an old adage ??you will get out of it what you put into it? and this is also true with Pilates. The next step for me is to enroll in the Pilates for Golf Class that will be conducted this June 19th. If you have never tried Pilates, I would highly recommend contacting Sarah or Brooke to see for yourself just what Pilates is all about.

I would recommend Balance through Movement Pilates Studio to anyone interested in fitness. The personal attention and encouragement you get from the instructors creates a positive workout environment. They make me look forward to every class. I never felt that way about exercise before.
