Eye Associates Of New Mexico

Dont like this place AT ALL! I went 3 times and each time I went they forced me to have my eyes dilated. I drove myself each time and really struggled with trying to drive home after the appointment (I dont think your supposed to drive after having your eyes dilated) not only that, but there were always "hidden fee's" (that I never agreed to) that I was charged once I got to the counter to check out.
last time I was there a lady standing behind me said that she would never come back because of all the hidden fee's! Also, they sent me the bill instead of billing my insurance company. It took nearly 6 months to get that taken care of and cleared up! If you go here, I hope you have better luck!

Ok, I will admit that I get seriously freaked out when people try and poke at my eyes or put drops in them. Well during a visit here they needed to put drops in my eyes to dilate my pupils so they could do some tests, well each time they tried to get the drop in my eye I would blink because it's just natural. Well the lady who was putting in the drops was getting overly frustrated with me even though I explained to her before hand that it would be hard and I was going to try my best. She decided just to force my eye open and did it so roughly that I about got up to leave. I think if they can't be more patient with people then they should think of a new career path!
