Our experience started out good and went south, initially was impressed by lack of pushy salesman and was very excited about the work. We had 9 windows and a bay window put in, they did a good job on rectangular windows, but our bay window was nowhere to be found allegedly. After a month of waiting for the triumphant return with our bay window, we were told it had not been ordered. This is now four months after ordering windows. Frustrated we got ahold of the window manufacturer Cascade and found out that the bay windows had actually been sitting in Advantages warehouse the whole time. We determined that the bay window was a pain to install, so none of the installers wanted to put it in and the excuse was that it wasn't in the warehouse. Also, the light divider bars were incorrectly manufactured on one window and it had to be reordered four times before it was correct. When the bay window was finally installed, only one guy came out late in the day, when job took several hours and needed two people. The side windows were installed out of plumb and light bars were noticeably wrong from street. We asked for this to be repaired or replace glass with clear windows to get around the problem. Well this is where it all went south, they just wanted their money and no one wanted to help. We again turned to Cascade, who were terrific and sent out their service tech to finally fix all the problems (after about 8 months-a little longer than "most houses take a day"). We like the Cascade windows, so would recommend to find them from another installer - even Cascade said they have had problems with Advantage in the past. I sent emails, letters and phone calls but the only response we ever got was looking for our money, even though they themselves said not to pay until job was complete. Their was a guy who yelled at my wife to pay, and when she said she wasn't going to until windows were right, he threatened her. and they still have not placed ext. wraps on the bay as promised
