Actually, that title isn't quite accurate. Their support is decent & friendly...when you can get to it.

Unfortunately, this is the second time I've had issues, and the second time I've spent 15 minutes on hold, only to be told "In an effort to reduce hold times and more effectively meet your needs, we've put a 15-minute limit on people holding, so you'll now be sent to voicemail...".

This, in addition to the fact that their support is only available until 8pm or 10pm, depending on which number you call. Last time, I left a message at 5:30pm, and didn't hear back from them until the next day. This time? Left the message at 6:30pm, and am not hoping for any better. For a web host in 2010, this is unheard of...and unacceptable.

An idea: if you want to reduce your hold time metric, how about hiring some additional support personnel?

It's an unescapable truth about technology: things inevitably go wrong. But it's the truest mark of customer service how well the company does when those things DO go wrong. And in that field, Infowest has done poorly for me twice now.

I have an e-mail account with Infowest and have had really great care when I have needed help from their support people. I haven't had to wait long and have always had my problems solved fast.
