I recently transferred from this clinic to another after utilizing South Valley for many years. I have never had a child and I go for yearly exams and I had an IUD placed. I have gotten excellent treatment from the nurse practitioners and Dr.s every time I have gone and that is definitely not my issue. My issue is that I have been treated poorly by the girls at the front desk who are obviously overworked, and I have seen them treat others poorly as well, so I know it isn't me. Also, I have gone in for an appointment and been there for about 3 hours and twenty minutes which made me late to work. While that has only happened once, I have waited numerous other times 2+ hours, so long wait is typical. Also, it can take 3 months to get an appointment for my busy schedule, so if you aren't someone who is free during the day a lot like me, this will also be a problem. I pay for these services so I am taking my business elsewhere, and suggest you find another place as well that isn't overloaded with patients.

There is a very long wait time if you have to go after about 11 o'clock. If you go before the wait is considerably shorter.

Pros: Professional atmosphere, brief, all buisness appointments.

Cons: long wait times.

I like this place alot. However I wish this wasn't the closest OBGYN to me because they have too many women patients which means, long wait time and not flexible appt times. As far as nice, professional and clean, this place is great. I waited for at least an hour in the waiting room every visit, when I'd finally get in to see my dr, 5mins and scooted right out, which I really didn't mind because I was already late for work waiting in the sitting room so long. Up to you. I have to suck it up because its the closest place to me.

Pros: They are overall good

Cons: Main problem & reason I hate going here is the wait time

Dr. Hansen delivered both of my two children. He is always quick, personable, and easy to talk to. If I have another baby I'll definitely go back to him.

My first two children were not born here, but we moved and had to go here. Dr. Hansen is a great doctor and his staff is SUPER QUICK with all their appointments. If you like to get in and get out quick - he is wonderful for that. Don't expect a long thorough visit, and most of the time you'll see his assistant, donna. (she's good).

The office is linked to the hospital, and the hospital was one of the worst experiences ever. The nurses were kind but were so busy we waited for every single thing we needed because they were overworked, and understaffed. Right after I gave birth they left me in my bed on full pitocin for 3 hours unchecked. I was in agony. My nurse had to go into an "emergency c section" and so it began... That happened to my next 2 nurses (so that was the story - or excuse rather). We wanted to check out and leave 24 hours after my normal vaginal delivery because I just wanted to get out of there and it took 7 hours just to do so. We left very distraught and exhausted that night.
The Doctors have interest and ownership in this hospital, so that is why I say about my birthing experience.
I really don't like to be so negative, but I know my experience was not the only one like this. It could have been so much better. I hope they make some changes. I am not having another baby but if I have the choice in the future I would not go there for anything.

This office has a good team of Dr.'s who are thorough and timely in responding to questions. Dr. Moreland has delivered two of my children and has done a wonderful job.
