I went to Nexus Pain Care because a friend suggested it. I had terrible back pain that radiated down my leg. My family doctor tried exercises and medications and heat and ice but nothing really worked for a long time. I went to Nexus Pain

When I left my appointment, I didn't know any more about what was going on than I did when I went in. Neither did the doctor. Instead of ordering a test to tell him some more information to diagnose the problem, he sent me to a neurologist because he wasn't exactly a neurologist. The information he gave me for the neurologist was old and I had to go chasing all over town to find her. As it turned out she was almost right across the street. Then once I did find her I couldn't get in for a couple of months so I had to settle for her P.A. in three weeks. That appointment was canceled because there was a possibility of a snowstorm(which never materialized). That appointment was supposed to be on about the 20th of December. I hadn't slept more than three hours a night since before Thanksgiving. To be honest, one would have more luck with a witch doctor than this place. Two thumbs way down.

    Pros: none

Cons: They actually had the audacity to charge me for a missed appointment in MAY

Don’t Just Mask Your Pain. Let Us Find the Cause and Treat It.

Most pain is acute pain, the result of injury or illness, and is gone in 6-8 weeks with rest and medication. Chronic pain is different. It affects the whole person, disrupting their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.A spiral occurs in which pain leads to inactivity, which causes muscle weakness, weight gain, and feelings of helplessness. Too many patients are told there is nothing that can be done about the pain. Using precision diagnostic techniques, we can often find the source of pain. Once the cause of the problem is known, a treatment is close at hand.We believe that patients in pain deserve to be given an accurate diagnosis and treatment based on scientific evidence delivered by people who really care about our patients.
