Its very good martial arts school. It give very instructive classes for toddlers through adults. The focus on point sparring and forms. The class are good for keeping one in shape and very active. The main thing about this studio though is the people are close. Each of them care for each other deeply and this shows from the event we do to the tournaments they go to.
Not to mention Mr. Kobielsky is very fun and puts a smile on everyone?s face. He is also well qualified. It was a nothing but great times When I was there =)

P.S. Mrs kobielsky...You still own me a dollar =)

Pros: Very fun family oriented school. Good instruction

Cons: Out of view and it is family oriented (not hardcore)

The atmosphere is friendly and family oriented. The instructor has patience with the yonger set while still teaching the forms and having fun. The older kids get a dose of fun with the serious instruction. Everyone knows when it is time to buckle down and the results show. Excellent values are taught and exemplified by the instructors and coaches. The TKO community extends to outside activities, ie. the annual halloween party, summer picnic and lock-ins.

I have three childen, and finding quality activities for them can be a challange. For nearly 4 years, Mr. Kobielsky has been teaching my children (and myself) Takewondo. This is an activity that will last throughout our lives. Fitness, agility, self control, respect, and personal achievement are just a few of the amazing results of training. We have belonged to other studios, but TKO is the most inviting and encouraging place possible. The positive atmosphere is a direct result of the wonderful enthusiasim Mr. Kobielsky brings to his students every day. My oldest daughter and I are now 1st degree black belts, and my younger kids are well on their way. The new, larger studio has only added to the experience. Anyone interested in Taekwondo (child or adult) should come by for a visit. One look and you'll realize this is really a great place.

Family isn't just in the name, it's reflected in the environment as well. This is one of the best martial arts studios I have ever come in contact with. If you truly want your kids, or yourself, to feel comfortable in a learning atmosphere then everyone should check this place out. The kids have fun while learning and thats important to keep them interested, but its also important for adults too. I have seen the shyest kid come in off the street and after a little time, emerge into a completely confident individual. As a parent I know that my kids grades have gone up, coordination has improved, use courtesy regularly and have become better kids all around.

To sum it all up; the price is unbeatable, the instruction priceless, the quality superb with wonderful emphasis on the FAMILY!

Keep up the awesome job your doing Mr. Kobielsky!

Cons: There's only one studio! :)

TKO family martial arts is a fabulous studio! It all starts with the instructor Mr. Kobielsky, he makes you feel at home instantly and the kids love him. When shopping for a studio for our children we did visit several studios and found that the others were very corporate, you got the feeling they were running a business that looks for top dollar. The classes are unlimited as he would rather see you as often as possible instead of set limits on when you can join a class. This studio even got me as MOM to join in on the fun and THAT alone is a big accomplishment.

This family martial arts studio is outstanding. It all starts with the instructor, Mr. Kobielsky. He shows great interest in his students and he does a great job of providing guidance.

The school has a great reward system in place to encourage participation and improvement in martial arts skills. For children, the system also encourages good grades in school and the development of social skills.

With month-to-month contracts you are not asked to over-commit money or students' interest.

This is a great family martial arts studio without financially burdensome binding contracts. The month to month enrollment fee is stress free. Family participation is encouraged and the atomosphere is fun. It is wonderful to see your student's confidence soar, not only in the studio but outside as well. Mr. Kobielsky is a highly skilled and awesome instructor. I highly recommend TKO for everyone in the family.

TKO Family Martial Arts at 1171 S Buffalo is the best martial arts in town - bar none. The leader, Justin/ Mr Kobielsky is a TON of fun, truly cares about his students - trust me, it shows. You absolutely get a sense that the 'whole thing' is for individual improvement. Kids adore him, I've overheard other parents state they wouldn't bring their kids to anyone else. Great workouts, interesting classes. HIGHLY recommended! You will NOT be disappointed.

Pros: Fantastic classes, GREAT attitude with students - adults and kids alike.

Cons: A tad hard to see from the street - studio is behind Insurance building on Buffalo, just south of Charleston - worth looking for though.
