I'd avoid them. Seem too expensive and I'm not sure how honest they are.

So many rip off auto repair joints everywhere...It is hard to find someone you can trust...I know these folks at The Car Doctor and they will truly fix your wheels at a more than reasonable price...PLUS they come to you...When you are done calling everyone else, pick up your cell and punch in the numbers for The Car Doctor...Yep, The Doc is in the house...Your house with great auto repair...

was recomended by a friend. so i call them.. they are not worth it... was told it would cost me $560 for a new fuel pump, and filter plus towing... the guy didnt do a diagnostic check all he did was eyeball the problem .. it took him one hour and a half to get to my destination .. excuse was he couldnt find the address. .. i look into the thirfty nickel qand found a place that charge me 380 and free towing, diagnostic check, customer shuttle to house.. then they told me i had a vacumm leak needed a new manifold gasket ... cost me 250 out the door.. .. my recomendation is find another place to go seriously .. they are not worth the energy and time.. for me . i figure i put this review .. so others can know what kind of service you get and quotes..

Recently, my beloved 1987 VW Vanagon decided to get rid of all of her coolant all over the driveway! It happened at my home fortunately so I wasn't stranded. My insurance company suggested I call The Car Doctor. The dispatcher said it would be about 1 1/2 hours as they had several calls. Jim was there BEFORE the estimated time! He was very nice with a great sense of humor (that's very important to me!) He didn't mind me watching while he was working, and even explained and showed me where the problem was. I like to know as much about my vehicle as possible, and he was a willing teacher! The problem was only a hose and he was able to fix it quickly. There were a couple of minor things he noticed and he took care of those as well! My insurance company (State Farm) reimburses me for the cost of the service call and up to one hour of labor. Jim could have said he worked on my van for an hour, when it was only about 30 minutes, and I still wouldn't have been out any money post-reimbursement. He charged exactly what he worked, and made NO attempt to up-sell me as many businesses do. If that's not honesty, I don't know what is! After he left, I called the Owner, Carolyn, to let her know what a great Technician Jim is! Carolyn was also very nice and appreciative of my input and thanked me for taking the time to let her know how the service call went. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with The Car Doctor! As much as I hope I don't NEED to have service done, I know the only place I will call is The Car Doctor!

I have been using The Car Doctor for a few years. I love that they are honest and look out for your best interest. A few of the workers have been there over 15 years. I trust and respect them. I love that for a small fee they will come to your location to fix your car, bring your car to the shop, and/or give you a ride. I am happy to use them again in 2010. In 2009 roughly 9 months (around May 09 to the Beginning of January) they had a management change. I had my car fixed here during this time, the regular workers I had met earlier were gone. With the new management and new workers, I did get my car serviced but I did not get good customer service and I did not trust that I needed everything they said. I was not sure that I was going to go back to this business. March 2010 my car needed service and I choose to go back to The Car Doctor Inc. I was so glad to see familiar faces and hear that management changed again for the best. The honest, and reliable workers are back. My car was diagosed and fixed in great time. I highly recommend people use the Car Doctor. Thank goodness there is a car mechanic we can trust!

My car would not start this morning. I am so glad I decided on the car doctor. They came to my home within an hour, discovered it was the starter. The person who came to my home was very informed and helpful. My car was fixed in less than 2 hours for less than the amount I expected, all while I was at home. They even checked and filled my oil for free.

Don't ever bring the car to this place to fix or even for estimate or dianosis; it is horrible service and never promise or commit what they said. \r\nYou will be trapped if bringing the car to them.\r\nWATCH OUT and STAY AWAY FROM TROUBLE

My car overheated on I-95 during my vacation to Las Vegas, and instead of paying for a tow and a mechanic to fix my car, I called the car doctor. For a reasonable service fee they came to my vehicle, on the freeway, and was able to fix it right there on the spot!! Wow the amount of time I saved and the convenience of the service was great! What a great idea, a mobil mechanic.
