.

As far as I know, this is the ONLY stamp store in Northern Nevada, and the includes Reno, Sparks and Carson City. ClassicNevada Stamps has a website called Renostampscom and is actually located inside of an Antiques and Collectibles store in Downtown Reno.

It does NOT have a lot of the high end stamps but the owner can usually find what you need and she always carries a full line of Showgard Mounts, hinges, tongs, and a pretty good selection of Sheets and Plate blocks. She also has some "stampless" covers and some really nice "patriotic" covers from the Civil War. Prices are generally WELL BELOW Scotts and she is very active with the local stamp club.

I really got a kick out of her window display because there was a great display of a Halloween Ghoul dressed in Victorian Clothing, looking at stamps! What a way to celebrate October as stamp collecting month!

The entire store space is about 10 x 15 feet but is sure has a lot of stamps, supplies, penny boxs,, albums, vario pages and a lot more. Well worth a stop if you are coming to town or if you live in the area.

Pros: The only place in the area to get stamp supplies

Cons: Doesn't have any of the really high end stuff
