I had been seeing doctors in this office for over 6 years. Over the past 6 years the scheduling, appointments, and office staff in general have been a nightmare. The staff is always calling last minute to cancel appointments, the wait time to see a doctor is always over an hour...sometimes over 2 hours, and I have been told more than once that they didn't "have my appointment in the computer" as I walked into the office. Today was the last straw. I drove 25 minutes to the office for my appointment. I walked into the office at 4:37p.m. When I went to sign in the staff members told me that they didn't have any more appointments for the day and the doctor had just left. That's funny because my appointment card says this date at 4:30p.m. Then the office manager came over to me and actually blamed me for the error. She told me that if I had been ON TIME then the doctor could have seen me because she had not left until after 4:30. I was basically being told that because I was 7 minutes late to the appointment, it was my fault that they did not have my appointment in the computer and the doctor had left. I do not appreciate being blamed for your own mistakes. I am 20 weeks pregnant and will be seeking a new doctor to deliver my baby after this.

This OBGYN has been nothing but a headache. The doctors are good but everything else with that office is horrible!

I had an appointment (11.11.10) that to me was very serious since it had to due with an option of going into surgery or a higher medication. On my way to the office I got a call that the Dr had to leave due to an emergency. OK i understand things come up but then it was a PAIN to reschedule my appointment. I had to call multiple times to get someone to call me back. Finally got it rescheduled and AGAIN got a phone call on my way there (11.23.10) that the Dr had an emergency. I work at a place that it is not easy to take time off and to tell my boss they canceled on me twice and I need to reschedule again doesn't look good on my part. Since then I have called on a daily bases and can not get a scheduled appointment (12.13.10). I have asked for the office manager at least 8 times and still no phone call. The front office girls are NO help and snuddy. One told me I would get a call from the office manager on Wednesday "Since that was the day she made all her calls"... come to find out the office is closed on Wednesday.

Today, 12.13.10, I still have not heard from an office manager, I do not have an appointment, and overall upset on how this office handles things. This appointment to me was really appointment. Now I have to find a new Dr and will probably have to start the process again since I am in mid diagnosis and most Drs want to look and treat you first before they throw you into surgery.

My past experiences with the office staff have been similar but I really liked the Dr so stayed. The Drs are always behind and there is always a long wait. I would highly recommend seeing another office.

Dr. moore is an idiot. Her staff is amazing, except for her phone service and whoever answers her phones. She is slow, and it seems like the messages never go anywhere. Dr.Moore never has time. She is in and out of the room so fast, I might as well gone to a freeclinic. Dr.Shaw is around and will take the time to call me whenever my results come back abnormal and will take careof the situation right there in his face. I recommend Dr. Shaw and I hope the best for him. I hope dr.moore can fix her issues.

Like the other reviewer, the staff was pleasant enough, but I really could not stand Langdon's bedside manner. First of all, the office was not organized. They lost my lab work twice and so at my 2nd and 3rd appt she was asking me if they ever did a pap on me, or this blood test, or that blood test.. blah blah blah, b/c they didn't have the paperwork. That was a bit unnerving, but I agreed to just redo all the work.

Second of all, all ultrasounds/labs go to Desert Perinatal (which is fine) and I had to get an ultrasound earlier than usual b/c I had just had a miscarriage. Well, while I was at Desert Perinatal they noticed a cyst and some other abnormalties (cyst not a big deal) and they wanted to make sure I came back in a month b/c they needed to make sure the cyst went away and to see if I would need additional treatments b/c of some other things. I was told by the DR at Desert Perinatal that based on my ultrasound and my 2 previous miscarriages I was still considered high risk. Well, 3 weeks later at Langdon's office she told me they couldn't find my file from Desert Perinatal and so I told her they had scheduled another ultrasound for above reasons... well she yelled at me and told me that I was not going for an ultrasound b/c that's not the order things go in. She literally yelled at me! What the heck is that? Come on, who yells? She didn't even have my file, didn't know what was wrong, I told her what they told me and she told me she was going to have the appointment cancelled.

I just said okay, and called Desert Perinatal myself. They advised me to switch drs (I would have anyway) and I Still went to the appt. (everything turned out to be normal)

A little annoyance: in a 8 minute appointment I corrected Langdon on my name 5x. I don't have a hard name to pronounce (its pronounced Porsche- like the car) but she still kept calling me this other name and seemed annoyed when I would correct her. Fine if you can't pronounce it when reading it, but after I correct you, humor me by not calling me that other name and why be rude to me if I correct you?

Maybe she was just having a really bad day everytime I went to her office, but she should still act like an adult and treat me like a human being.

I was going to Generations OB/GYN during my pregnancy this past year. The staff was nice enough but toward the end of my pregnancy my doctor (Langdon) decided that she wanted to induce me at 37 weeks because they were worried my baby was going to "be too big." I voiced my concerns to them but felt very pressured to go through with the induction. I ended up changing doctors at 36 weeks and was incredibly pleased with my decision to switch.
