Disgusting - I tried the 'world famous' fried bologna sandwich and it was dripping in butter, and very very salty. Not worth $16.99. A complete rip off. Never again.

I feel like I'm betraying my side of the culture war by admitting this, but I liked the nachos. Sue me.

I have been to TK in Denver and had a good experience, so was excited about Las Vegas. It was the worst service I have ever had....food took forever to get, then was cold. Waitress would not come over to ask if we need more drinks,

Second rate crowded cowboy bar. I paid $36 for 2 hamburgers that were nothing special. I'll never go there again.

Went here because I like the OKC, OK. location so much- was VERY disappointed! Very small, loud TV's blaring. NOT a good place to eat in Vegas- just a little bar with crappy beer.

My best friend and I went to Vegas 2 years ago to celebrate our 40th birthdays. I talked her into going to TK's bar. We had planned on bar hopping the whole trip. We never left and went back every night of our stay. We went back last year and Jim our favorite bartender was still there. We went every night. The music is great and we have so much fun. All the customers are friendly and everyone has a great time. We have not tried the food but my aunt and mom liked it. We have already made plans to go back this year. The drinks were no higher there than any other place and there is no cover charge!

Oh, I think it's only fair that I put my two cents in how I feel about this place. So, I may be disqualified from reviewing this place because I still don??t know why people listen to that country music stuff. However, I do understand why people eat and although my friends and I had fun here I don't think we'll ever be back. First, we waited a stupid amount of time for a table. It had to be over an hour (and it was 2PM when we arrived) and then when we were finally seated we realized why the wait. The service took FOREVER. It was a good hour and a half to go from seated to receiving food. Out of retaliation, to well, life in general, I ordered the Big Daddy Challenge. Yes, after all that waiting to get a table and food, I made my friends wait another hour until I destroyed that thing. Apparently I'm the only woman to do that and definitely the smallest person. I guess the moral of the story is don't piss off the skinny rocker chick cause she will figure out a way to make you pay. Other than the free meal, I got a XXL T-shirt, and the admiration of the staff...which is something we would have appreciated when we ordered. Ehh, it was a cool story and I guess the waitresses are attractive but the food was not great and I don't think you gotta win a challenge to get any kind of decent service.

I just went to Toby Keith's Restaurant in Las Vegas in August 2009, and after reading some of the reviews, I could believe I was in the same restaurant. I guess they got better because our service was fantastic, the food was great and the entertainment was great. i never saw any extras being charged even after I asked for extra dressing. Also, if you read on the menu, it said that they could only do 2 bills per table, so we new that before we even ordered. Our waitress was so nice and accomadating. I had ice tea and even thought it was in a large mason jar, it was never empty. She always kept it full, and the food came out very hot. The menu is a little pricey, but so is everything else in Vegas. I would rather eat here and get a full meal insted of paying $10 for a subway. If you are in Vegas, definately check it out.

Ok, I am a little biased since I'm a huge Toby Keith fan but even my husband who doesn't share my enthusiasm for him thinks this is a great place too. The food and drinks are a little overpriced but what do you expect from Vegas. The food and the atmosphere definitely make it worth it though. Where else can you get a Fried Bologna Sandwich and Freedom Fries (not french fries). I hate Vegas but I always want to go just so I can stop by Toby's.

My girlfriends and I went to Toby Keiths Bar and Grill in September 2008 and we loved it!!!!! We had a great dinner there with excellent service then we went and partied in the bar. The music was great. The band played country and the DJ played rock and dance so it was a great mixture. The drinks are a little expensive but well worth the price. The bartenders were geat and the the free shots were also nice. We went there on a Friday night and then we returned on Saturday night. It was the time of our lives, I only wish we had a I Love This Bar in Detroit, Michigan. We really did Love This Bar!!!

Our dinner here was great. The menu offers a large selection and the prices are reasonable. Service was prompt and the staff very friendly. It was quite busy and we had a bit of a wait, but is was worth it.

This place is fun. It is a combination bar, restaurant, casino and souvenier shop. No doubt about it, it is perky. They serve barbeque ribs, mexican style items, fried stuff, meatloaf. Big bar food. Live country music, Toby Keith stuff to buy. The hotel so hyped the merchandising tie in that they put his picture on the slot player cards for a while!

I have never been to the Toby Keith's I love this Bar and Grill in Vegas but I do work at the other Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill, and I had read some comments people left... people come in and can be very rude sometimes...if you have never been a waitress you don't understand how difficult it can get. Yeah most think oh well you take my order, put it in, bring my food, check on me and get me refills, but it can be much more then that and can get overwhelming and hectic. People want things right then and there....sometimes it just doesn't happen that way. I don't know the situation... but a person can only go so fast. Maybe the waitress was new or was getting her butt kicked...anyway's I just wanted to say something about that comment, go easy on people you never know the situation. I'm not trying to say anything bad about anyone's opinion I just thought I would state my own.

I am a huge fan of Vegas and the awesome food the town has to offer... but sometimes you just want some good old fashioned American food. And that is not easy to find on the strip. So we decided to check out I Love This Bar & Grill.

The ambiance was fine - good music, lots of flair, etc... but the service was HORRIBLE and the food was just so-so. Our waitress could not get our order right, ignored us when we tried to get her attention (because she never stopped at our table), would not split the bill 3 ways (between 6 of us -- is it really that complicated?), and charged us a bunch of $0.50 extras we had no idea where for (but by the time the bill came we didn't even care because we had been waiting for so long). The food was just ok, it wasn't very warm (I guess I will blame that one on the service), everyone seemed to like their's ok but me -- I ordered a quesadilla but it didn't come with any salsa or ANYTHING, it was really dry (and when I asked the dumb waitress for some salsa she never brought it to me). The whole staff seemed to be really overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was about 1/2 full, and it was about 2pm on a Sunday.

This place just left me p-ed off when we left. Had potential, but maybe we just got an exceptionally bad waitress. There are def. better American burger joint-type restaurants on the strip, I don't recommend this one. Sorry Toby.

Cons: Horrible, slow, dumb service; below-average food

We are from RI and planned to have dinner at Toby's I LOVE THIS BAR the night before our wedding in Vegas. The atmosphere was so much fun, and the excitement of being at Toby's place (we are huge Toby fans) with all of the memorabilia, music, laughter, food was beyond belief! My sister quietly left a message for the live band to dedicate a song to my future husband and myself, next thing I know they asked us to come up to the dance floor while they played "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This". I thought I had gone to heaven! The food was unbelievably delicious (voted by everyone in our party), service was excellent, bartenders as good as they get, and I had the time of my life! Wish we could have a Toby's I LOVE THIS BAR closer to us! We would be there as much as possible...................Thanks so very much for everything!!!!

My wife and I were in Vegas for 4 nights we had some fantastic dinners and great wine we ate and enjoyed spirts in all of the top hotel and casino's. But nowhere compared to "I LOVE THIS BAR". While touring the city of Vegas be prepaired for "UN FREINDLY SERVICE" and bartneders who could care less about the patrons. This is everywhere but Toby Keiths "I LOVE THIS BAR" The Bartender Melissa was fantastic and made you feel like you where sitting at your neiborhood bar talking to an old friend. She actualy remembers your name and your drink!! For you cigar Aficionados it is CIGAR FREINDLY!!. One of only a few places in Vegas outside of the gaming area's you can enjoy a great stick great spirits and fantastic music. Yes thats right this Bar does not only play Country music it has a great selection of music accross the board.

We went to Toby's restaurant in Las Vegas because we love country music and Toby! We did not have a reservation and it was a Wednesday night so it wasn't overly crowded. The hostess told us that they served food in the bar so we could just have a seat there and a server would be with us shortly. We did that and after about 10 minutes we asked a bartender who happened to be walking by if there was a server and he told us that there were no servers but we could order something at the bar. So we proceded to order a couple of beers and some food. After about 45 minutes and several dirty looks later, I went to ask the bartender about our food. Obviously he had forgotten about it and said he would go check on it. Well what do you know? He walked out with our food and actually was going to serve it to us ICE COLD! It was almost 10:00 pm at this point and we told him to take the food back and bring us the bill for the 2 beers. The manager ( I believe his name is Dave) started asking the bartender what was wrong but only came to talk to us after we called him over. He then told us that he could have fresh food out in 5 mintues if we would stay. I told him if you can get the food out in 5 minutes now, how come it took as 45 minutes the first go round. We paid for our beers and left. We were actually planning on buying things from gift shop to bring home to some family members who love Toby as well, but nixed that idea after the horrible experience at the restaurant. The only good thing was the house band. They were actually very good!

Cons: When we finally did get our food it was cold and we left without eating so we have no idea if the food is good or not.

I LOVE THIS BAR - We went to Las Vegas for our Honeymoon. My husband and I love Toby Keth music and couldn't wait to try out this Bar Grill. We sat at the Bar and we had a few drinks- since we weren't all that hungry we tried the wings. WOW - they were unbalievable. The bartenders were friendly and 1 in particular stood out and made us want to return for a second night of our vacation - we thought JAY the Bartender was extrememly entertaining. Turns out that 1 of the bands they had on stage that night - the singer was from our area ( how awesome ). I can never get my husband on the dance floor but at Toby Keiths it was no problem.
They gave us some greatly appreciated special attention for being newlweds - which I have to say we didn't get much of around Vegas - very surprising. Definately wish I could return but now I have to see about getting my hubby back on a 5 hour plane ride. Not sure if we will be back but if we do , I know we will wend up hangin out in this Bar again . Wish we had something similar at home - I'm a bartender myself - Give me an application lol.
Is it ttrue I here they just closed this Bar down? Anyone know for sure what happened? I heard buisiness wasn't doing so well , looked busy when we were there..........................

Pros: FOOD - MUSIC -SERVICE - JAY THE BARTENDER WAS ENTERTAINING

Cons: SPENT TOO MUCH $$$ CAUSE WE STAYED OUT LATE HA HA

My husband and I ate here on a Wednesday evening and only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Since it wasn't late and was still in the "dinner hours", I was pleased to find that the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't have a conversation at our table. When my husband handed over his Military ID to get the pager to wait for our table, the hostess informed us that, in true Toby Keith style, military receive a free hamburger and a beer (they may not want me advertising that--but after having a husband in Afghanistan for a year, it was refreshing to receive such a simple gesture of appreciation that had nothing to do with publicity). The food was INCREDIBLE and there was plenty of it. My husband said his burger was great and I had a steak that was so tasty it needed no steak sauce whatsoever. It did come with all kinds of "stuff" (mushrooms, etc.) all over it that I wouldn't have asked for, but I just scraped those off and it was good to go. I will look forward to going back again (especially since I wanted to try the "Fried Twinkies" but was just too full to justify it). I highly recommend!

Pros: Food was amazing!

Cons: My kids LOVE Toby Keith, but, due to the skimpy little western outfits the waitresses wear, I'm not sure I would be comfortable with them there--but I wouldn't take my kids to Vegas, either.

I went here on a Friday night with a group of 4 couples, most of us are huge Toby Keith fans so that is what originally drew us here. Without reservations we were seated within 10 minutes and were ordering our round of beers in mason jars!! The atmosphere is loud enough to be fun but you can still comfortably have a conversation with the people at your table. Every time a Toby song came on they did free shots for everyone in the restaurant at the bar. Sure, they were mostly fruit juice but it was probably the only free thing I got in Vegas!! Anyways, normally when I go to a themed restaurant I really don't expect much from the food since I am always dissapointed when it comes out like Applebee's or TGI Friday's type fare. However, TK's completely shattered this stereotype for me! We got the appetizer platter that was 13.95 and definitely big enough for everyone at the table to have enough of it. The fried mac and cheese bundles were everyone's favorite! I got the grilled chicken salad and it was so big I couldn't finish it. I NEVER have that with salads, also the veggies and chicken were really delicious. 1 person got quesadillas and they were just the pretty standard quesadillas, another got the bbq chicken and rib combo plate and is a HUGE eater and couldn't even come close to finishing it all and couldn't stop raving about how good it was, he also hates country music so for him to really carry on about food from TK's restaurant means it was delicious! 2 people got burgers that were good especially the onion ring one, 2 people got the pulled pork sandwich and were impressed with it, and finally the meatloaf dinner was perfect. Overall, this place is perfect for anyone looking for a great time that is completely relaxing and a little different from the rest of Vegas. One tip would be to split entrees though since they are all really oversized. They played all the fun new country music that is on the radio now that I love and show the videos too!

Pros: Great attitude, delicious food, Great "White Trash with Money" shirts in the gift shop!

Cons: That there isn't a location in Chicago!!

We stopped by twice this weekend (July 14-15). We had a good time and really great service.

The first time we had lunch (actually a couple of appitizers and drinks) in the middle of the day. Our waitress was cordial, efficient and beautiful. I try not to let beauty influence me too much - but what can I say - she was really that good and a lot of fun, too. The food was great and moderately priced - we just ordered too much not realizing how generous the portions would be.

So we came back the next day while we were waiting for our airport shuttle. We had drinks at the bar and that was another real treat. Our bar tender took really good care of us. She treated us to some drink samples, did some drink mixing / juggling for us, got on the microphone a couple of times and generally made things a lot of fun. And, yes, she too was a real beauty. If this lady ever gets tired of tending bar, I think she could have a great career in entertainment.

I know they have live music there at night, but we didn't get a chance to stop in for that.

We will definitely be back the next time we're in Vegas.

I took my country loving boyfriend to Toby Keiths one night. Me being an african american girl whose family is from the south wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't sure if country cooking and southern cooking were very comprable. My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy which he loved and I had my favorite food in the world, fried catfish. I asked them to put the "butter sauce" on the side because I wasn't sure what it was or if I would like it. Everything was excellent! the sides were on the small side, put my huge piece of catfish filled me up anyway. Also, once I dipped the catish in the butter sauce I was pleasantly suprised and I poured that whole thing over my catfish like it was meant to be. I would definitely go back again! Apparently there is a very thin line between country and southern food.

Pros: great food, great atmosphere and good live music

Cons: a little wait, but it was friday night

I love Toby Keith so when my husband and I were in LV last week we decided to try it. We went for an early dinner (around 5:30). We were seated right away and the table service was okay. Only suggestion is that a warning should be given as to the astronomical price of a drink in the souvenir cup ($21.99) -- I was only warned about the large size not the large price tag. It turned out that my plastic cup cost more than my dinner. At least our meal was good -- I especially loved the mashed sweet potatoes.

Overall the food was good, the atmosphere is fun and the place is worth going to -- especially if you love Toby Keith and/or country music.

Pros: Food, Music, Atmosphere

Cons: Expensive Drinks

.

A friend, my husband, son and myself all visited right before Christmas 2006. We went about 2:30 in the afternoon and were seated right away. Music (Toby's of course!), atmosphere (kinda like Hard Rock, but all Toby), videos (mostly Toby) were great. My son enjoyed looking at all the memorbilia, listening to the music and watching the tvs. Food was very good; alcoholic drinks can be expensive. Service was very friendly, but slow. The bartenders made up for it though. Don't know if it was something that goes on usually...but they were giving out shots called "bl--jobs" and out of something very bright colored and life like. The bartenders played it all it up and everyone was laughing and having a great time. Watching the older aged (probably in the mid 50's to early 60's) group at the next table take this all in was hysterical! The bartenders were up on the bars, flipping bottles, etc. Kinda like a country "Coyote Ugly" meets "Cocktail" gig. At one point they offered a free shot until they were gone (can't pass that invite up right?). My husband and I play league pool weekly and all we thought was, "boy would this be a fun place at night on a weekly basis". If this was what the mid afternoon was like...too bad we didn't get to experience late night!

I took my two boys (15 and 13) to Toby Keith's I love this Bar and Grill last week. It is a little hard to find. The signage to get there is not great. Clear in the back of the casino and upstairs by the tram. My 15 year old son is a huge Toby Keith fan so I had to take him there. We had a great time. Even though my younger son is NOT a country fan he loved it (especially the server's). There was a lot going on at the bar. Good times for some party. The food was very good for a theme restaurant. It was a little pricey. I had fish and chips (spicy tartar sauce), my son's had ribs and chicken. They really liked their food. Great fries! My son said the ribs were the best he had ever had. We went for a early dinner. I'm sure it can get crazy later. The server's and busser's were very good for the time of day we went. Drink refills, more water, extra napkins and boxes were brought without waiting. Go with the thought that it is a theme restaurant and Toby will not be there and you won't be disappointed. Busier and louder as the night goes on! Enjoy we did!

My husband and I make a point to visit as often as we can every time we come to Vegas! Every single time we come, we get the most awesome attention. Brandon (with the freckles) and Shaun bend over backwards to make sure we are taken care of. Do I care that a martini costs me 10 bux? Heck no, the care in which is it served is superb. I wish like hell they'd open a Toby's here in Arizona!!!!! Good job folks, you are awesome, and have made Toby's our favorite hanging place in all of Las Vegas.

I have been to I Love This Bar about 5 times. The food is good, I've had the hamburger which was okay nothing to write home about. Although their pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. The fries are tasty and they have Pepsi on tap which is a nice change from coke. The Nachos are huge a loaded good for a group of people.

There aren't many signs that indicate where this bar is in the hotel so you have to be on the lookout or ask the right person. The band plays primarily country although they mix other stuff in as well and is very good. However, the drinks are completely overpriced. $6.00 for Coors Light and $8.00 for shots are not what you'd expect from a Country Bar especially when you have Gilley's a few hotels over appealing to the country crowd and offering $3.50 beer.

I went to toby's last week with a bunch of my girlfriends and we had the best night of our trip!!! The staff were all busy, but still took the time to make us feel special. Being in the food industry, I know that is a very fine line, and they walked it perfectly. The ribs and burgers were great and the signature drinks were even better. The band was HOT too! To top it all off the male bartenders entertained us all night with incredible bottle flips and tricks and gave us everyone in the bar free shots when they played I LOVE THIS BAR. Awesome experience and I cannot wait to go back!!!!!

This is the second time I visited and the second time I posted about this place. The first time was mixed - this time is flat out bad. We stopped in for drinks and the service was BEYOND horrible. It took us 15 minutes to even attract the bartenders attention in spite of the fact she was standing two feet away from us chatting with other staff. Once we did she was unfriendly and treated us like we were bothering her. We never got another drink offer after the first one. The music may be good, but I will never go there again.

Way overpriced--$6/beer. We are locals and planned on spending an enjoyable night dancing to COUNTRY music on the large dancefloor. Turned into a rock concert with those fans crowding the stage and taking over the dancefloor with their bics lit up -- much like a concert. Most people come to this place expecting Country music. Please take other music to other venues. Also, please keep your kids out of the bar and dance floor.

Overpriced, overated, slow staff. The house band was the best part, the Tony Marques Band is what brings us back everytime we are in town.

Looking for a place for my husband big brithday bash, I loved the big dance floor and lots of seating. My husband, daughter and I went their for lunch to check it out. We were seated right away, but then waited for 20 minutes before anyone came up to the booth we were seated it, which by the way was right next to the kitchen area where the waitresses passed by. We were just getting ready to leave when a waitress came up to take our order. After that the service became better, margaritas and food were good. Probably, will not do his birthday party at this restaurant because of the long wait. We will give the place another chance, maybe an evening outing to hear the band as my friends tell me it great place for dancing.

my husband and i were in l.v. last week and ate at toby's place. we arrived at 5pm and were promptly seated. the restaurant was not at all crowded, although as the evening wore on it became more so. i did not notice anyone waiting very long for service. i had the fried bologna sandwich and my husband had the meatloaf sandwich. both were very good, as were the fries served with them. the prices were very good for vegas - i would highly recommend this restaurant for any age. my only question is, what's with the skewers with the olives and peppers stuck in the sandwiches? not necessary and the presentation wasn't enhanced.

Went to Vegas in November. First night went to eat at Toby Keith's I love this bar & Grill. The food was pretty good, the drinks a tad pricey but I guess that's what you get in vegas, Stayed to hear the band that Monday night. They rocked the house. We were expecting country seeing as it was a Toby's and all. But the band played southern rock. Pleasant surprise! Southern Stue was the name, they gave us free tee shirts. My wife wears it to bed. All night she was screaming I love this band & grill. Went to a lot of places during our stay but the first night there was the best. Great atmosphere.

Visited 11/25/2005. Sat at bar waiting for a seat over 10 mins with no service along with another couple that was there before us and another that arrived just after us. The two female bartenders would not make eye contact. We flagged a stock guy who got us drinks finally. Called us for seating and after seating we waited another 10 mins without any waitress response so we got up and left, noting to the reception gal they were understaffed, which she agreed..... Toby would have been ashamed....

My family and I were in vegas for Thanksgiving. We went to Toby's I Love This Bar the first night we were there. We loved it. The food was great and the band rocked out. We had such a good time that we brought more family the next night, and more family members the night after that. We were very pleased. The only thing we didn't like was the $30.00 per person minium to sit by the band because we spent over $100.00 a piece and we shouldn't be told how much money we have to give them.

We couldn't wait til Toby's opened, nothing like it in LV. We are from the South, we enjoy country music and home cooking. The waitress was not the friendliest we have ever encountered. The portions of entrees were large but not the best cooking I have had. The ribs & chicken fried steak were good, but the meatloaf was worse than Stouffer's frozen meatloaf. The corn bread and the coating on the fried orka were dry, and who fries okra whole? The turnip greens were different from what I am used too, but still good. The mashed potatoes were good also. My question when looking at the menu was "where is the fried chicken"? What is southern cooking without fried chicken?
Maybe ya'll should consult Toby's Grandma or Mama for some good recipes !!
We are willing to give it another try on our next trip and hope for improvments.

It looked great from inside and out. The waitress was beautiful and slow as mud. Good thing she brought out tiny portions and crappy food. I am country and that was garbage. I almost had a nose bleed from all of the salt. The music videos and the music were out of sync. Poor management. What a shame. If he gets a manager and a chef then maybe I will go back.

My friends and I went to Vegas for a bacholerette party and a couple of us just happened upon Toby's I Love This Bar and Grill. Not only did we receive great service but the food was great too. Of course we went back that very same night to see the Tony Marques Band again!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is out for a great time!!

I was in Las Vegas on business last week, the company would have payed for any restaurant I wanted, so I chose Toby's.
What a disappointment! It looked like a cafeteria with Toby's pictures and guitars on the wall. It looked nothing like a bar anyone would love. The service was slow, the food ok, but the music was a local band playing their own songs! I chose poorly, I hope you do not make the same mistake I did. The gift shop was a bigger rip off then the restaurant! If you need to see it, walk through and keep going.

I tried to go to Toby Keith's restaurant, I waited 20 minutes for a table (they weren't even busy). Then, once I was seated, I waited another 30 minutes. Still no server. A server did walk by, but she said nothing to us & ignored us when we tried to get her attention. At this point, we walked out. Still, nobody said a thing to us. Not even the hostess that seated us (she also walked past us as we were waiting for a server). I work in the restaurant business. This is no way to treat your customers. I flew to Vegas to go to this restaurant, & let me tell you, it was not worth it.
Also, do not buy anything in the gift shop. My shirt fell apart the first time I tried to wear it. What a great expierence!

The service is almost non exsistant and mostly rude. Bummer that they do not have cocktail or food service after 11pm. Great place for drunk cowboys & cowgirls but not for locals who work till 10:30 and want to eat and listen to country music. Too bad... we were so excited to know that there is live country music somewhere in Vegas.
