All pizzas come with no toppings, the toppings are extra? Does that mean that if you order ketchup they wont give you the bottle; they will bring it as a side dish and charge you? For the price we paid for two pizzas we could have had a

This pizza restaurant was recommended to us a couple of months back, so we decided to try it. Much better than we imagined. Definately recommend.

We just loved the pizza here... I wish they had a margherita pizza, but we make something like it from the topping selection. The only setback is that it is a little on the pricy side. That is okay, though, when it comes to quality pizza.

Finally REAL New York Pizza in Las Vegas or on the west coast.

Many have tried to duplicate east coast pizza and up to this point no one has.

Grimaldi's is IT!

Pros: The BEST Pizza on the west coast

Cons: they need more locations

I was very excited to see that a pizzeria with Brooklyn ties was near my office, so I decided to give Grimaldi's a try. The pizza wasn't good. The sauce tasted like it came from a can, and was very thinly spread on the pizza. The cheese was okay, but not good enough to save the pizza. The sausage was pretty good. The crust was thin, like it should be on a Brooklyn Pizza, but it wasn't "soft". It wasn't hot when I arrived at the time they said it would be ready, it obviously had been in a hot oven because the crust was slightly burnt. The pizza would be mediocre if served by a chain, and for nearly $20 it rates poorly with me.

Pros: The restaurant looked nice

Cons: Pricy, not authentic, not good.

A little pizza restaurant. All of their pizzas are thin crust and their sauce is homemade. Not the best pizza out there and the service is less than great.

Great pizza--very thin, but not crunchy like the thin crust that most places have. This is true New York Style pizza in Vegas. They are consistant. We have been several times and the pizza is always excellent, never any variations--

I really enjoyed the pizza. The toppings are very fresh and loaded. The crust is a thick crust which I don't normally like but it was good.

Grimaldi's has great pizza and a great ambiance. The bar area is also really cool, especially when the weather is good. Be a bit wary of some of the cocktails however, they're a bit strong. Eat there or take it out, either way it's great. The service is very fast, and the all the servers and hosts are polite and pleasant. Prices aren't too bad either, I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for some high quality pizza.

We went to Grimaldi's after hearing and reading about how wonderful the pizza was...... and some friends also said they enjoyed it. We are from Chicago. OK....... so I'll start the war...... there is no comparison between Chicago pizza and NY pizza. Grimaldi's pizza was good and tasty....... but I'm sorry to say, we will not be returning there. Overall experience was good.... don't get me wrong...... but what's with NY pizza? It was thin, soggy (wet is the better word), runny on top...... and hey! where was the cheese?? .... where was the green pepper??? (which they don't even offer as a choice)....... and the sausage?? Can we taste it, please?? We even order "extra" cheese and I asked the waitress if that's really what they called extra cheese...... to which she said "yes"....... of course. So we paid an additional $2.00 for "extra" cheese and STILL could barely taste it. Sorry folks........ shoot the messenger on this one. Nice overall flavor with fresh ingredients....... but YOU CALL THAT PIZZA???? WE THINK NOT.

12/08 revisit - this rapidly expanding pizzeria franchise originated in Brooklyn and currently operates 6 restaurants in Arizona and Las Vegas. We chose the white pizza with fresh tomatoes passing up the large salads that are offered on the menu. We chose the white pizza with garlic and added fresh tomatoes. The toppings have always been above average, but this time the elves got the crust right.

Pros: Good NY stylle pizza in Las Vegas, large salads

Cons: Very busy on weekends

The most amazing and delicious pizza I've ever had. They make EVERYTHING from scratch including the cheese and all toppings. Try the cheese cake too, you won't be disappointed

I have been to many of the famous coal oven pizzerias in New York and was really excited when I saw that Grimaldi's was opening just around the corner from my house in Silverado Ranch. I went the first week they opened and was really disapointed. I was hoping it was just first week problems so I went back tonight now that they have been open a couple of months. First the wait for the pizza was horrible, there were maybe another three tables at most in the restaurant (never seems very busy) and we waited over 35 minutes for our pizza. The pizza is nothing like the Grimaldi's in New York, bland crust, tomatoes have no flavor and the mozzarella seems to dissapear into the sauce.
My hopes for a great NY style pizza were dashed, seems like Grimaldis has sold out to the chain concept.
