I was a recent patient of The Fertility Center treating with Dr. D. I was referred to the Fertility Center of LV and of course I read all of the reviews and most of what I heard was good. I was skeptical as having a baby was very important to my husband and I, and wanted to go to the best to get the best results.
From the moment I contacted their office to make an appointment I really had the best care and service imaginable. Every single person that works in their office was professional, friendly, and caring- from the front desk staff, the nurses, the ultrasound tech, the lab, etc. I was rather concerned and afraid having a baby was not in the cards for me due to my age and previous diagnosis, but after meeting Dr. D, I left with hope.
Long story short I was able to achieve pregnancy and rather than just referring me back to my regular OB/GYN, they monitored me regularly. I had weekly and sometimes bi-weekly blood tests and regular ultrasounds to monitor the progress until i had reached 11 weeks, then referred me back to my OB doctor to continue treatment.
On several occasions I had emailed Dr. D and his staff with questions and concerns-sometimes questions I thought might be stupid. Each and every time i received an email back right away. Dr. D even called me late on a Saturday afternoon to personally discuss my test results with me. I don't know about you, but I have NEVER had a doctor with that much follow up and care.
I would give The Fertility Center of Las Vegas a raving review 100 times out of 100. Dr. D seems to really care about his patients and went well above and beyond anything I would have ever expected. Needless to say I am 22 weeks pregnant now and expecting my first baby boy. I would highly recommend the Fertility Center of LV!

I started going to the Fertility center of Las vegas in 2001 and I was under the care of Dr. Shapiro. When I started going I was unaware of how much testing and work was involved in finding out why I could not conceive, so I stopped going in 2002. In 2005 I went back and almost had to start the testing over again, but Dr. Shapiro was confident that no more testing needed to be done and he knew what procedures would help me. On my first try of IVF I conceived my son. Dr. Shapiro was kind and confident through the entire process. He never gave me false hopes and he was always empathetic to my condition. I would recommend this center over any other in the Las Vegas area. The doctors at the Fertility Center of LV are always kind and courteous even if you aren't thier patient, and they will always greet you with a smile.

Pros: Everyone (staff and doctors) are wonderful!

Cons: Can be very full and wait times can be long
