About 3 weeks after we "purchased" a vehicle there, they sent a certified letter (yes, they didn't even have the respect to place a simple phone call) stating that they needed more information to complete the loan. They then told us we needed to find something less expensive or bring in a cosigner. Since we were still interested in the vehicle we thought we were financed for originally, we brought in a cosigner. Three days later they said they still couldn't get us financed and we would need to return the vehicle. The plus side, once we found out we were taking the vehicle back we had a blast 4x4ing up Peavine. I would strongly suggest avoiding Internet Auto at all cost. They are a sleazy team of low life people. One star rating because I couldn't give 0. Also, run a CARFAX because we later found out that this vehicle they could work with the price with due to it being a "trade-in" was in fact a rental and bought by them at an auction! Don't take it just from me and the other ratings on here... continue your research. 4 (about to be 5) failure to respond to complaints on BBB should be a red light as well. I'm sure the only reason there is not more is because it is a time consuming process. We've learned our lesson and will spend a great deal of time researching the next dealership we wish to buy from.

Such poor customer service from the internet manager Rico and Harry. First off we made an appointment with Rico but when we got there Rico was gone so his associate Harry was going to help us. We had to wait about 15 minutes for him to get the papers on the vehicle we were interested in but when he showed up he had no papers and didn't even know the asking price for the vehicle. After that Rico kept emailing us to give them another chance so we went back, Rico was there but to our surprise he didn't know how much they were asking for the vehicle. It was only after we asked several times that they gave us the price for the vehicle. They were unwilling to work with us, we never sat down to make calculations and see how much we would have to pay, and when Rico saw that we were trying to negotiate, he just dropped us with some other guy and just walked off, this guy offered a ridiculously low price for our trade in and a rather high price for the vehicle we were interested in . The guys was just telling us how much we would have to pay and wouldn't budge. Ridiculous, Internet Auto Reno should train their managers on customer service. After this experience we went to a real dealership and they gave us top dollar for our trade in and worked out a better deal than we had hoped for.

My wife and I bought an SUV there. Excellent service, vehicle has been perfect... We had a hiccup with financing (no fault of the dealership) their financing dept got it thru for us. We have had a great experience and have since sent several friends and family members there.. Definitely would recommend them.

I bought a vehicle that I felt was the right car. When I took it home I had a few issues with it that needed to be addressed and called them on it. I was told by Harry to come down, which I live 90 miles away, and did. When I got there he was not in and Rico, one of the other dealers I was working with had no idea I was there. After I gave him a list of things that was wrong, he wanted me to come back on wednesday. It is now the following Monday and they keep pushing me away. I recieved a 30 day/1000 mile warranty from them and time and mileage are running out. It seems as if they either want the time to expire or for me to keep driving 180 miles round trip for the miles to exceed 1000 so they don't have to help a good veteran trying to provide for his family during a time when the economy is so poor and money is scarce. I don't know what to do. Should I contact the Better Buisness Bureau?

WHAT extended warranty? The salesman told you what? I will take care of that.
You sign a contract that they go over fairly in depth about EXCEPT the part about if we are unable to get you financed you will have to return the car. So they call you back a week later CLAIMING to need 3 more references, and proof of Insurance showing a NEW company as leinholder. Oh and now you are not 8% but you are 16%, your payment has went up $100 AND we need $1200 more down.
WAIT!!! Remember when I asked you if this could possibly change? F&I manager says, "Who told you that? We would have never said that, as it is all over our contract."
Who would have told you that you only needed $1500 down payment? It's ON THE CONTRACT we signed!!

This place is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I will tell everyone and I mean EVERYONE NEVER to go there because of their unethical tactics of breaking peoples hearts.

So to everyone involved in our deal, I hope you can sleep with yourselves at night KNOWING that you don't make dreams come true, you crush people with your ethics... I know everyone has to make a living BUT if I ever had to resort to these tactics, I would be homeless but THAT is MY integrity... Not only that, but we now live 1000 miles from our trade-in, which they both refuse to ship to us, and are also charging us storage fees for it, which I only just discovered when they replied to my complaint.

All I can say is certified inspection my a**, The first problem I had wasn't a huge one 2 weeks after I got the vehicle the supposedly checked coolant fluid was basically non-existent . I figured what ever no big deal these things happen. Then being in the last part of my third trimester in pregnancy I went to Elko to go shopping since its closer to where I live than Reno, and I no more than got there and lost complete oil pressure pulled it over and found out that it was a faulty seal. Something that if they would have checked the pressures correctly or tested them very well at all they should have known. The bigger issue here is that I am now 18 days over my warranty so am basically screwed. They should not put a sticker saying that a vehicle has a certified inspection if they will not stand behind it. I was stranded in Elko with my three year old daughter and every thing in Elko was closed. Also when I called Internet Auto they said we're sorry they service manager is not in you can call him sometime Monday (this was Saturday). All I can say is certified inspection my a**, The first problem I had wasn't a huge one 2 weeks after I got the vehicle the supposedly checked coolant fluid was basically non-existent . I figured what ever no big deal these things happen. Then being in the last part of my third trimester in pregnancy I went to Elko to go shopping since its closer to where I live than Reno, and I no more than got there and lost complete oil pressure pulled it over and found out that it was a faulty seal. Something that if they would have checked the pressures correctly or tested them very well at all they should have known. The bigger issue here is that I am now 18 days over my warranty so am basically screwed. They should not put a sticker saying that a vehicle has a certified inspection if they will not stand behind it. I was stranded in Elko with my three year old daughter and every thing in Elko was closed. Also when I called Internet Auto they said we're sorry they service manager is not in you can call him sometime Monday (this was Saturday). Pros: Gave us a chioce between two crappy cars, sent the DMV paper work 3 wks after the date they were needed. But they sent them !!!!!

This was the biggest run around that I have ever dealt with in buying a used car. My wife was told that we got the vehicle ( I had stayed home to go to work) and drove it home 2hrs. to where we live. A co-signer was involved with our deal and was told that he was in fact, nothing but a co-signer. Almost a month later, we called to see where our dmv papers were because the dealer tags were going to expire in a couple of days. This is when we found out that the loan was not even approved yet and that they wanted us to bring the vehicle back! A salesman by the name of Harry ( the salesman who we were so blessed with) called me in a total panic mode asking me if our co-signer had signed the papers yet. Is this really MY job?! No one could give a straight answer to any questions that I had. What basically ended up happening was that the vehicle was sold to our "co-signer" out right without him knowing, I had to add him to my insurance for that vehicle ( an extra $400 a year for me to pay ) just to get it registered! When I told Harry how much extra I had to pay, his response was," It could be worse." What an as*hole! And now I'm pushing it to make my 1st payment on time because the loan info and payments have been sent to our "co-signer"! I feel sorry for anyone who actually considers giving this Reno branch any of their business.

WHEN THEY BROUGHT MY OLD CAR BACK TO ME IT WAS COVERED IN MUD AND DIRT. I DID NOT LEAVE THEM THE CAR THAT WAY. OH! AND IT GETS BETTER, WHEN I TRADED THE CAR IN MY "ROOKIE" SALESMAN "DEAN" TOOK MY LICENSE PLATES OFF MY OLD CAR AND TOOK THEM SOMEWHERE. I ASKED HIM THAT I THOUGHT THE CUSTOMER GETS TO TAKE THERE PLATES WITH THEM. HE SAID "NO" WE KEEP THEM AND THE DMV GIVES YOU NEW ONES WHEN YOU REGISTER THE NEW CAR.
