Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop

If you are going with a group - go for the monster ice cream special, a scoop of everything they have and more, then get lots of spoons and share it - you will have the best time ever! It's definitely a time to bring the camera. Makes the whole Ghiradelli experience even sweeter.

We visited here while on vacation. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. The kids enjoyed learning about Ghirardelli chocolate. We then had some of the best ice cream sundaes ever. You don't want to miss stopping by when your in town.

Ghirardelli is famous in SF for its chocolate, and the store is enough to make anyone drool. The prices are INSANE, but I guess that's the cost for Chocolate they make the greatest Hot Fudge every. and they also give one piece candy to everyone any flavor you want.

This is a tourist spot. We live in the Bay area but end up going very often with out of town visitors. The ice creams are really great. The sundaes have cool San Francisco based names. There can be long lines -on hot summer days but the lines move fast. The icecream scoops,sundaes, milkshakes, floats are all brought to table pretty quickly. Next door is the chocolate shop. Different varieties of the famed chocolate. sometimes they have yummy samples. Both places are highly recommended.
