These townhomes/duplexes are terrible--they are cheap to live in because they were cheaply built; management is terrible; and many of the people who live here are just awful neighbors.

The Hadley road in particular is awful--an entire row of townhouses went up in a 3-alarm fire in fall 2011 due to improper firewalls, which have not been corrected in the other units on the property. During the less than two years we lived there we dealt with two other (smaller) fires; have watched a swat team invading another row of townhouses; have watched multiple arrests; have had vehicles broken into; and there is an EXTREMELY unpleasant neighbor (one of the neighbors actually began proceedings for a restraining order to keep her away).

Management is also terrible--there is plenty of non-assigned, "free" parking spaces, but after you move in, you begin receiving emails telling residents not to "park in the spaces in front of others?? homes without permission." If they were a little more astute, they really should turn the parking spaces into reserved parking. Although this is not a big deal, it is certainly indicative of the way Greenbrier operates.

.

We lived in these apartments for 2 years and it was quite affordable -- 3 bedrooms and about 1,800 sq. feet for $865/month. But when we moved out, we didn't get the chance to walk through the apartment with the manager and she lied about the shape the apartment was in and didn't refund our deposit. It was ridiculous -- we cleaned for an entire weekend beforehand and she just outright lied.
