I purchased a pre-owned refrigerator from Main Appliance. The salesman agreed that certain items would be fixed. I needed to wait two days for repair. Thankfully, I had him write the information on the receipt, as the repairs were not done when the refrigerator was delivered, and they were not going to make good on their promise till I produced written confirmation that I was promised certain repairs. They returned the refrigerator to the store for repairs, and then told me they were going to charge me twice. Although the mistake was THEIR fault, they insisted on a second delivery fee.

I asked for my money back, but was told that I could only receive a refund if I came and got it directly from the owner. He was only going to be available during the week, during the morning hours. I made an appointment, took time away from work to pick up the check, and was then told that he wasn't there and I would need to make another appointment.

I made a second appointment to pick up my refund, and had to wait 35 minutes for him to give me my check.

I was very disappointed in the customer service and the owners attitude toward his customers. I felt the salesman was only trying to make a sale, and I'm skeptical that they even intended to do the repairs. The only positive to this experience was that the delivery men did a good job.
