Moving from Chicago was not easy, BUT when I found out that the Iowa Cubs were here I was excited to see them prior to the majors. I have gone to numerous games and find that no matter if they win or lose the beer, fans, atmosphere, and players are great! I seem to make many new friends out at the park... The prices are not bad. I will still always be found with my hotdog and beer, but the park offers a lot of variety even funnel cake! The new bleachers in the outfield make it feel a little more like Wrigley. Lets support our Cubbies...

Pros: The prices are inexpensive compared to the Majors.

Cons: I would love an Adults only section!

If you have not been to the Iowa Cubs Club a since January 2006, you might not realize how much it's changed. Gone are the days of menu items beckoning back to the 80's like "tuna melt" & or "diet plate". You see new things like grilled salmon sandwich on Ciabatta with bacon, lettuce, swiss and chipotle mayo, the salmon was fresh, the waitress told me the Chef had just got it in that morning! My wife had the Nicoise Salad, not what you might expect at a baseball stadium, it arrived expertly prepared with albacore tuna grilled rare on top of romaine, chilled boiled red potatoes, green beans, roasted peppers, kalamata olives, hard boiled egg, fresh basil, and garlic-white balsamic vinaigrette. But this place has not forgotten it's a ballpark; everyone around us was eating thick half-pound burgers. We'll be back again! I still want to try that NewYorkSteakSandwich!
