Outstanding Company!!---After reading the reviews below, I got scared when I raised a few issues we were having in our condo complex in Meriden. Went to one meeting with raised concerns and they were all fixed within a week. Condo fees did not go up, did not have any issues after going to the meeting to address issues. Issues were small, but in my eyes should have been taken care of by the company and not us and they were very quickly once presented. Very happy to have this company representing the condo complex where I live and excited that if I have any issues in the future or if anyone in my complex does, they will be resolved quickly and efficiently. Couldn't be happier with this company!!

Eric Schafer (the owner) is a lying, manipulative, arrogant person. I worked for APM and found it be a completely unorganzied, unprofessional company that exploits honest working men. Horrible experience working there.

I own a condo on one of their properties. They are awful to work with. I'm not too sure what these employees do as far as work besides collect money. Anytime I have an issue, I am never able to speak directly to a property manager. They

The APM reviews, It was like reading my own notes. Certainly I do believe different people are writing these reviews, how else could any one individual come that close to what I've experienced in reality. This Company not only treats individuals with disrespect, even select Board Members, they also hire individuals on the Association's payroll to do their work of managing the complex, (so the Association pays x2 for the work being performed), they also hire friends to do below par work at the complex, ie: landscapers, masons, etc. and fight tooth and nail to keep them on board. They are liars. The accounting dept. does not properly function in any capacity. APM also unilaterally and unlawfully changes language in pre-existing or pre-approved contracts, without the consent of the BOD/Association. As for nyyfan... it's only slanderous, when the information is "false" (dumb-dumb). // surfrunner26... try not to use to many big words, nyyfan may not understand you.

Beware -- this is not the Management company's fault, Owners voted on a policy that created a Very aggressive car towing policy. DON'T let a company trawl in your complex!

As for APM -- I'm content. No night backup number for owners/'tenants, but aside from that, no complaints..

We are currently attempting to terminate our relationship with this company. Site TOS doesn't allow me to expound on either nature or extent of our horrendous experiences however I certainly can commisurate with some of the admonition posted that similarly has culminated in our own abnegation with this company.

Regarding the commendation by NYYFan discrediting other reviewers, What established history or experience do YOU have with this company justifying the liberty you have taken to denounce other individuals reviews here NYYfan ? You state you have almost no experience with this company , and you certainly do not qualify to post a review that substantiates your praise while denigrating other reviews regardless of how they "appear to you" . You state you have no established history with Advanced, you state you are just beginning your very first year with a company that has not even conducted an annual meeting let alone prepared a budget for your complex as of yet. Granted some posts are from residents that are clearly angry however do angry posts preclude such posts as being truthful ? There are other
reviews on other sites regarding this company. I suggest your read them, and I do hope you never face the problems we have had to contend with, with Advanced ! I personally (although not a W&K fan by any means) have delt with them in the past, and I don't believe your statements regarding "better financials" is at all accurate based on many years of experience with both companies.

They do not have the experience and staff to affordably address our needs however they promised us all sorts of things the first few years. In fact we are running into serious problems do to errors made by them, since Eric does not assume accountability for his mistakes. Prior to considering Advanced you'd be doing yourself a favor by calling past and present accounts experienced with their evidently well known lack of ability and interest over duration . In the 4 years we've had this company we have seen numerous inexcusable mishaps (some injurious) to residents, many culminating as a result of their ongoing negligence, or ability, still - they aren't qualified to suit our needs as a medium sized Condo complex.

Pros: None considering what they've cost us in settlements

Cons: Eric is a talker, and that's about it, over time Advanced has shown consistent lack of ability.

After the first Board meeting, we received an action list based on the minutes, with work orders already assigned. This is one example of good service that we never received from other companies. I expect to update this review in a few months after APM has helped us prepare a budget and conduct the annual meeting of unit owners. Meanwhile, if you are considering a change of management, don't make any decisions based on those other reviews!

Dishonest practices, squandering money, lying and trying to BS their way out've predicaments they get into in lieu of their larcenous actions of stealing, unauthorized towings, and general improper actions regarding Common Interest Ownership laws they don't follow as well as numerous other actions indicating their select targeting and actions that should NOT transpire in an owner occupied Condo complex. No budgets furnished either. Health hazards in our Farmington Condo are being ignored, as are ongoing safety hazards. Schaefer spends twice the time covering his lazy butt, that he does doing productive planning and work. All BS, but actions speak droves. They can not and do not "manage" properties they are contracted to manage. Check references and Civil suits prior to hiring

This president (Mr Schaefer) is horrendously dishonest. Additionally, he lacks the common sense needed to manage accounts that support his business. This is a business that really should be shut down for ongoing unethical practices.

The owner of this company Eric Schaefer is extremely manipulative and dishonest. If he spent the time doing honest quality work for his accounts, instead of covering up for his discriminatory actions; If he spent less time lying and covering himself when confronted by his accounts Attys, in lieu of his miswilfull conduct and ongoing unqualified subpar services, he'd at least be showing his current accounts that he tried to manage them, as opposed to depleating their reserve accounts. This is a pathetically dishonest character.

He lets people he likes do stuff that is wrong, and eric helps them do wrong stuff. This stupid manager once again insults the owners by putting signs on exterior doors ONE day before he expects all owners to just leave their doors to their individually owned condo's OPEN, or give strangers a key to enter their owned unit while they work, (with all their contents vulnerable) so some exterminator (for god knows what reason) can inspect and spray interior of all units ?? when most units don't even have an insect problem ?..If an owner is at work, Schaefer thinks they are just supposed to give out the key to their Condominium to a non-trustworthy person ? Is this fool really a manager ? is he really that stupid ? Assuming owners aren't around, You notify the owners via mail, and have the owners CALL YOU, and set up a mutual time to meet with someone, assuming a person actually needs access to an individual unit. There also must be a valid reason...Some stranger noone knows accessing a condo here, in an individually owned complex ? One day notice ? I can't wait til we get rid of these fools. How disgraceful !

This poor excuse for a manager shows ongoing disrespect for the owners he works for, as well as Shared Interest Ownership Acts. State Common Property Documents, and our By Laws (He's never cared to familiarize himself with). He's also extremely inefficient, doesn't take time needed to deal with aspects of a Condo Complex consisting of 140 Units. We are in the process of getting rid of APM, and hiring Elite here in Farmington.

This owner has showed such blatant waste and inefficiency it's a disgrace, however monthly fee keeps going up, and they do less and less around our complex. A complex that they are running into the ground. Additionally, they arbitrarily tow owner's cars on private property (owned by those that pay their salary) without a court order, also without regard to By Law's stating 30 day grace period on temporarily registered or non-registered owner's vehicles. Horrible company. They take the liberty of stealing owners personal property too. Included in confiscated items, are devices of medical necessity needed to make life easier for handicapped residents.. Pathetic company. What kind of company throw's away a dying mans walker ? Advanced does.
