The Golden Greek has recently reopened under the original owners. Worth giving a try again.

This food was the worst food I've ever had out. The soup was burned, my "roast leg of lamb" was not fresh and over cooked. My wife's scallops were overcooked and chewy. Salad bar has very few options. None of the food was fresh, seafood

Great place! Friendly service. Kids love going out to dinner. Salad bar is always fresh. This has become one of our favorite places to eat out. Portion sizes are excellent. Taste quality surpasses other in our area.

The Golden Greek Restaurant is the best in the whole area! It has great food, HUGE portions, friendly and helpful staff, and a welcoming atmosphere! The new owners are extremely nice people, they greet you and make you feel welcome! They have done a great job here, taking over on such short notice. The restaurant has never looked better! I would definately go back. I recommend the Golden Greek Restaurant hands down!

People need to stop hating and move on with their lives. Obviously there are a lot of angry people out there who can't appreciate a good thing when they see it!

The Golden Greek in Dayville CT was once one of the best if not the best restaurant in a 100 mile radius. The quality of the food was second to none. I remember Nick as a smart business man. I asked him once was is your secret? He told me quality food at resonable prices. Now with this new guy who always seems to be at the bar drinking, the menu prices are out of control. And the quality of the food is terrible. My wife and I have been going to the Golden Greek once a month for well over 20 years. They have waitresses who forget aout you, they come along when they want to. Then when you get your bill they could care less. I have tried the other restaurant nex to the hotel and the food wasn't that bad. Not as good as the Golden Greek used to be, but not bad. For the price and the service that we got there, it just may be our new restaurant we go to. I think the name was The Eagle or the Golden Eagle or something like that.

why go to a place that picks up food off the floor and serves it. i saw with my own eyes. i also saw the fat guy at the end of the kitchen put his hands down his pants and continue cooking not just that but the short guy in the front smoking and cooking.
