Yalesville Elementary School

Yalesville Elementary is a great school. I am Karen Zeman, whom has a slanderous review written here on this site. I was hired there in 1999 and just left to work at Highland when the town reconfigured. I fear that the statement was written by my ex husband and has nothing to do with my teaching ability. Please contact the Wallingford Board of Education or my current principal if you have any concerns.

Overall, we have enjoyed our experience at the school. Things are well run and organized athe staff cares for the children and their progress. However, one teacher in brings this school down and leaves black mark on an otherwise wonderful program. Karen Zeman has poor interpersonal skills and is very cold to the children and parents. She has control issues and seems to care for none but herself. There was a patition started by parents to remove her from the staff several years ago and administration failed to listen to the wishes of the parents. Many parents have requested their children removed from her classroom. This school is recommended, but avoid her classroom.
