I contacted Ruttle and Neltner for Mother's Day flowers this year and they did a great job. At first they recommended they're Mother's Day boutique design, but I had something different in mind. They were flexible and happy to work with the specifications I wanted and provided a really nice arrangement that fit with my budget. They also delivered them on time too. Overall, I thought they had really good service and provided a great looking boutique of flowers.

I can't believe Ruttle and Neltner Wedding Florist received anything but a 5 star rating! Kinda makes me wonder about this bride. *My* experience was amazing and my 2 best friends' experiences with them were also. Flowers are flowers (I thought!), but trust me, you'll want R&N putting it all together. As far as the staff at that shop being anything but as sweet as could be is just totally wrong. We were rushed and stressed to the MAX, and I had forgotten to order flowers for my godparents,....they made them for me right there at the church! I love these folks!

I am one of the 'vendors' that worked on the wedding of "Amy H.", and after reading the comments she posted regarding the florist, I feel compelled to add my impressions of this particular client.

In all my years of working with lovely and appreciative brides I have never encountered such an unhappy, unpleasant individual. Why she chose to attack the florist is beyond understanding. I saw the flowers and the staff working their hardest to accomplish what needed to be done with very little time. Poor planning and poor communication on the bride's part left many of the vendors scrambling.

My personal experience with this bride left me re-thinking whether I wanted to continue in the wedding business.

I had wonderful experiences planning my wedding with my bridal salon, photographer, caterer, venue, d.j. and musician. I would refer any bride to them. What I learned from them is that in planning a wedding, problems are bound to arise but the vendors that impress are the ones that go out of their way to make you feel like you and your wedding actually matter and that you are not just another check in the bank, the ones that do little extra things to make you feel special and treat you and your family with respect on your special day. This company did none of those things. I cannot say anything negative about the flowers themselves. They were very pretty. But I don't think that the bizarre attitude shift I encountered on the day of my wedding and thereafter was worth the flowers. Through planning my wedding, I primarily dealt with a staff member who worked part time. I saw the owner sporadically and our dealings were always pleasant. On my wedding day, however, without talking to me about it, the company decided to arrive to the venue earlier than agreed and was angry when they could not get in. Then, they were rude to my Husband and his groomsmen, who were carrying in boxes of decorations we had paid the company to put up, telling them brusquely that if they didn't place the boxes in a particular spot they would not put the decorations up at all, although they had never told me they wanted the boxes put in a specific spot. (Through the night and over the next several weeks, our guests came to us with stories about how they overheard how rudely the florists spoke to the men). The company did not bring my bridal bouquet, maids bouquets or the mens' bouts to our upstairs dressing quarters, as agreed. When we girls went searching for them, the owner pointed to the floor. In our gowns (yes, me in my wedding dress), we got our bouquets off of the floor ourselves. Then, two days after the wedding when I was on my honeymoon out of the country, the owner started sending me emails demanding more money, over a month after I'd paid in full for their services, in an attempt to get a nominal sum of money for petty wedding day issues. When I refused for various reasons, in my opinion, she became nasty and there are simply no other words to describe it but vicious and childish. Over the course of several emails, she essentially called me a Bridezilla and told me I was "trouble from the get go." This has been quite shocking and perplexing, as we never had one problem until the wedding day. I never even met her until long after my initial consult. The interaction with this company has been truly upsetting. You really don't want negative people surrounding you on your wedding day and making you feel bad. You certainly don't want anyone insulting your new Husband, your wedding party or creating such memorable negative images in your guests?? minds. Needless to say, I am definitely not a happy customer.
