I have never been so pleased and comfortable with a doctor (s) than with this clinic. I came to them with isues that other docs told me to just live with and they listened, reviewed my records and told me they could help me and so far

I had a couple of issues with this clinic. For one, Dr. Eckel wanted me to sign a year long contract for service, whereby I would come in on a regular basis for pre-specified treatment . It was the first and only time I have been given such a proposal at a medical office, and I immediately questioned the professionalism of such an offer. In my opinion care should be based on real time (or regular) results, and a patient should not be tied contractually to a provider for a year.

At the time I went to the clinic, in 2008, they also performed neurofeedback. Ultimately, it did not help and made things worse. During one session that produced particularly bad results, Dr. Swanson deviated greatly from the recommended settings provided by the main neurofeedback practitioner in her absence. Instead of trying to make amends, Dr. Eckel defended Dr. Swanson. Only later did I learn from another practitioner (not at Nature Cure's) that Dr. Swanson was not highly regarded in the field of neurofeedback. I heard that shortly after this incident they stopped offering neurofeedback.

Among other things, they were heavy proponents of the Blood Type Diet, which has little of any scientific credibility (see. Dr. Weil).

Nature Cures has been our clinic of choice for four years now. Whenever anyone on our staff has any kind of health issue we send them to their office downtown for treatment. I've watched the clinic expand from a staff of five to ten and they've managed the growth with aplomb. I've had various treatments and have always had positive responses. The size of the staff also allows their clients to select from different specialties and methodologies. Nature Cures is a terrific example of a small business that has success on its own terms while catering to the needs of a disparate collection of patients. Give them a try!

I received excellent care and healing acupuncture from Dr. Andy Swanson over a period of several months for back and nerve pain and found him to be an intuitive and compassionate physician. I would recommend him without hesitation for anyone seeking a naturopathic physician and/or acupuncturist.

If you want to go to a doctor that will really listen to you about your ailments and work with you to make your life better and pain free tehn you should go to Nature Cures. They are very knowledgeable, compassionate and have a real desire to help people. After spending years and much wasted tiem with MD's who just wanted to desricbe more pills to treat symptoms, I finally found a doctors office where I could go and have my injuries treated instead of just their symptoms.

I highly recommend the good doctors at Nature Cures!!!

We believe that too often the 'art of listening' is absent in medical care and we are working hard to change that. At Nature Cures Clinic we believe relationships matter.
