When our Air conditioner died this summer we were desperate to get it replaced. Lucky for us a friend recommended Portland Heating. The owner was able to talk to us about air conditioners, heat pumps and furnaces. And was knowledgeable about all the tax credits available. Once we made our decision his crew was here within days and worked through some very hot weather to get everything installed. They were very pleasant to deal with and easily the best deal compared to the other companies with whom we talked.

We called Portland Heating Inc. when our furnace gave out, as a second opinion. The first opinion cost $90 and we were told that the furnace had to be replaced. Paul at Portland Heating came on a Saturday and spent a bit of time checking out the furnace, and told us it just needed a tune-up, which he did. The furnace works well, so far. He only charged us $75 (on a Saturday!).

He seems honest, hard-working, and very knowledgable.
