This firm is amazing. Sarah Denner, Brad Miller, Jodi Stahancyk and their legal assistant Linda Moore are kind, thorough, smart, ever-available, patient, ethical and supportive. Given that divorce is inherently gut-and soul-wrenching, you need lawyers like these to get you through.

Tate Justesen did an outstanding job with all facets of my divorce case. As a stay at home mother, parenting time with my three young children was of the utmost importance to me. Tate successfully secured a 70% time allotment (and full custody) for me, which is far greater than any arrangement that any of my friends or colleagues have. For this alone, I am truly grateful to him.

Tate is exceptionally competent, professional and diligent. While up against a founding partner in a highly reputable firm in Portland, he displayed tremendous poise, proficiency and command of all issues at hand. He addressed all of my concerns in a high priority manner, which put me at ease and made me feel that he was completely looking out for my best interests. Tate meticulously reviewed all documents related to my case and addressed/rectified any detail that was not up to par. He left absolutely no stone unturned.

Tate Justesen did an exceptional job with my divorce case. I give him the highest recommendation possible!

Brad Miller and Andy Newsom at the Stahancyk firm may have reputations as great litigators, but they are also great strategizers, who will find creative ways to save you money!

It was hard to believe they were able to put my case together so fast and get it through so efficiently and effectively (less than a month). They were able to quickly and efficiently resolve my case and achieve a result 10x better than anything I would have gotten if I had gone to court.

I had to leave a 35 yr old marriage. I couldn't have found a more competent, supportive lawyer to steer me through a divorce than Arthur Saito of Stahancyk, Kent and Hook.

I live on the coast and was able to use the Astoria office, saving me the long drive into Portland. Lawyers have an unpleasant reputation, but I found Arthur to be intelligent and compassionate...a true friend in a distressing time of my life. I learned so much about the legal system from him that I now feel competent reading legal documents! He was always polite and kind, even to the opposing counsel and found ways to give me the best possible outcome.

What a great defender! Thank you Stahancyk, Kent and Hook!

Tate Justesen of Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, P.C. assisted me with my recent divorce. From the start, Tate was wonderful to work with. His professional and personable demeanor impressed me and put me at ease right away (which is important when you find yourself sitting in a divorce attorney's office). He quickly cut to the chase on the issues and discussed them with me in a concise and knowledgeable way - he spoke to me in plain English that I could understand and did his best to avoid using the ""legalese"" with me that can make the law so confusing to a non-lawyer. When I needed help with difficult questions about refinancing my home, Tate even recommended an outside mortgage expert to assist me - Such service!\r

Divorce is a difficult time, and I am glad that I had Tate Justesen's legal counsel. I would recommend Tate to my friends and family without hesitation.

Grace Lee and Andrew Newsom are among the best lawyers in their field. They were extremely thorough and caring about obtaining a fair and just result .... and that is exactly what i got. The communication between lawyers was perfect, hit all the marks which proved to be extremely beneficial in court. Both Grace and Andy were accessible as I needed and there was no motion or proceeding that was not handled in the upmost professional manner. I'm so pleased with the results that I've already made 2 referrals to them and its been only days since the conclusion.

Tate Justesen and his team at Stahancyk are great!

Tate is a very diligent lawyer. He keeps you informed and is often willing to talk about your case outside of normal work hours. Best of all, he explains the law and your options in plain English so you understand what is happening throughout the process. I will recommend him to family and friends.

I selected Arthur Saito to represent me in a divorce after interviewing at least five other attorneys from the major firms in Portland. Ultimately, I chose Mr. Saito because he was interested in doing the right thing for everyone affected by the divorce. He was honest, fair, and thoughtful. Mr Saito is not a showman or a junk yard dog, he is a professional. I wanted an expert, not someone I would have to manage, and that is exactly what I got.

I cannot thank Mr. Saito enough, as he really went the extra mile for me. We have numerous meetings early morning or late at night after my kids were asleep. I don't think I know any other lawyers who routinely display the level of compassion, competency, and professionalism that Mr. Saito demonstrates.

I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Arthur Saito.

After spending over 4 months with a Divorce Attorney that promised me everything, but delivered me nothing. I turned to Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, P.C. I spoke with Karen Wood Client Relations Specialist. I let Karen know what I have been thru so far and asked for someone that would work my case openly and honestly. Karen ""The Specialist"" directed me to Arthur Saito. Arthur was kind of placed between a Hard Spot and a Rock with me, due to the way the previous Attorney treated me and the way the spouse was treating me. I met with Arthur and was immediately impressed. Arthur explained the process and what I could expect. What I had been told previously, was not entirely true. Arthur returned calls and emails when available. If unavailable, Thom Clock Legal Assistant for Arthur would call or email responses to my questions. Arthur thru his words and actions have a very calming effect on me. Arthur is a ""ZEN MASTER"" at bringing you back to earth. He treated me as if I were family. Arthur is a True Professional. For help contact Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, P.C. Speak with Karen Wood. If going thru a divorce, ask for Arthur Saito, Knowledgeable, Professional, Very Caring and a friend for life. Thank You, Arthur

Brad Miller is an outstanding attorney and a great guy. Going through divorce is a painful ordeal. There are all of the challenges you can imagine AND many, many more. Brad guided me through custody issues, support issues, investment issues, property issues and business issues. More importantly he guided me through the emotional ups and downs that are inherent in a divorce. I cannot tell you how important understanding and emotional support can be. What I found is that the things I did (and didn't do) during the divorce paved the way for how I would immerge from the divorce. Yes Brad ensured I was treated fairly in the division of assets, but most importantly he ensured that I walked away with the best situation for my children and my future. I was referred to Jody Stahancyk by a friend. Jody has built a great team with top notch attorneys. I have, and will continue to recommend SKJH to anyone that needs a divorce attorney. They are the best!

Arthur handled my divorce case with care and helped me to understand every aspect along the way. He was willing and able to answer any questions I had. I felt relieved in knowing that he didn't make quick decisions about the case, but considered various scenarios and outcomes to choose the most beneficial path. \r
The rest of the office staff was always friendly and made me feel very welcomed and important when I arrived for meetings with Arthur.\r
I would refer my friends and family to Arthur Saito if they were in need of an excellent divorce attorney!

When I met Arthur Saito of SKJ&H I was extremely nervous. I was afraid of losing my daughter when my Ex-wife moved away. Arthur's professional, compassionate demeanor quickly put me at ease. Once we went to the courthouse to do business I knew that we would be okay. Not only did he know the law and the stakes, he was well respected at the courthouse. He corresponded with me in a timely manner and was thorough and made sure I understood what was going on at all times. Even though he spared no expense to win this this case, he was respectful of my financial situation, and made sure that we were not wasting a penny of my retainer. If I ever have issues again, I will not hesitate to go see Arthur. Guys, if your ex-wife moves away and you want to retain your parental rights, you need to see Arthur. YOU CAN WIN! I am proof Case law supports fathers rights..

I had been dealing with a most stressful divorce. It's enough that these situations are one of life's most stressful. You would at least hope that the people ""on your side"" are there to watch out for you. My prior attorney treated me like a number in a long line of clients. She felt her job was to go through the same motions as with every other case. I felt completely alone.\r
\r
Then I met Jody Stahancyk. She invited me in to her office, sat me on the couch, took off her shoes, curled her feet underneath her, wrapped herself in a blanket and we started to chat. As an attorney, there is none better than Jody. But you don't need to read that here - there are enough articles published about her to fill an entire building. But she was far more than that - and when you are going through this kind of a monumental life event, that is exactly what you want. Jody was a friend, a guide, a caretaker, a mother, a sister and even at times provided nanny and cooking services! (No joke, when I had nowhere to leave my children and needed to meet with Jody, she would have her office staff take care of them).\r
\r
I have seen in some reviews that people have said Jody ""yelled"" at them. One person's ""yell"" is another person's ""passion."" Jody works with people going through this trauma every day. Every situation that each of us thinks is unique, is something that she's seen 20 times in the prior month alone. So Jody knows how the movie is going to end every time. All she is trying to do is help you get to the end in the most painless manner possible. Unfortunately since none of us clients know the end, because we haven't seen the movie, sometimes we do things that we think are in our best interest, but are absolutely wrong and destructive to our case. If Jody cannot get you to see this, then yes she does get passionate. And once you get over the initial shock of getting spoken to very passionately, you thank her a million times over for helping you see things straights and getting you to where you wanted to go. I couldn't have been more grateful for the things she pointed out - I wouldn't have survived otherwise.\r
\r
I also saw some reviews critical of the fees. To that I only have one thing to say: If you want a Ford Pinto you can find one. I'm guessing a Cadillac or a BMW is more likely to get you where you want to go. The Pinto may as well, but you are taking your chances that it won't. And even if it does, the ride may have been so bumpy and dangerous that you won't come out the other side the same as when you started. I got every cents worth from the firm, and Jody makes no bones about telling you upfront that you will get what you pay for.\r
\r
Divorce is far more than a legal procedure. With Jody and the whole SKJH team (and I know most everyone there by first name when I call) the legal part is taken care of by the best team around. But it is the other part - the emotional, traumatic life event that you are going through that also needs tending to. I forever will be grateful to Jody, Brad, and the entire team for getting me through to the other side.

It is very difficult to go through a divorce after 28 years but when you do you will need the best by your side. Laurel Hook is focused and keeps you on task when the emotions are running at an all time high. Tate Justesen has been wonderful to work with along with the rest of the team. SKJH is warm and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. Their dcor is unlike most law offices plus a kitchen that serves up amazing food if you are in need of lunch. \r
\r
Now I am facing round two protecting the original judgement I recieved with Laurel and Tate right by my side.

The legal services that Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook provided me were absolutely top notch.
After having my child custody case drag on for over a year and a half with another Portland firm, I switched firms and hired Laurel Hook to take my case. From the get-go Laurel and her assistant Tate Justesen impressed me with their intensity and knowledge. Their communications with me were clear and concise, and I was kept up to date on the progress of the case.
The case that had seemed as though it was to go on forever was deftly brought to a close in a mere three months. Thanks to Laurel and Tate, my daughter and I have attained the peace of mind that could only come from closure of the case.
If I were ever to need legal council in the future, without question I would seek the services of Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook.

I have had the opportunity to work with Deanna through my divorce the past year. My husband and myself did not want to just dump money into the court system but, I found way too many hoops to go through and I felt I needed some protection. Deanna was able to continue providing services and advice at a moments notice and I am still working on the final steps of this process.\r
\r
Deanna was helpful in many ways. She helped me with the vocabulary and the possible outcomes of my situation. She guided me on what needed to be in the judgement and she was very insightful to the reality I was faced with. She speaks from personal experience and she helped me in what could have been a very hard time. I could have been financially hit without the help of Deanna. \r
\r
I would recommend Deanna to my friends!

From the initial consultation, it was clear that Laurel Hook clearly understood my complex business and tax issues and possessed the experience and strategy necessary for my case. \r
\r
I was not disappointed. Throughout the entire process, Laurel Hook and her associate, Tate Justesen, managed my case with a level of sophistication and professionalism which resulted in a timely and extremely favorable outcome for me. Going with a less experienced firm or attorney would have cost me a fortune. \r
\r
I would refer anyone with family law issues to Laurel Hook, her team, and the firm of Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook!\r

Pros: Great, Great , Helpful, Cut to the chase attorney

When the previous review says run, I would encourage you to heed the advice.\r
I retained Mr. Phillips in the Bend Office to represent me in the divorce proceedings. He neglected to complete a Postmarital Agreement until the final day of my court extension, then advised me he would need to file addition papers with the court because we would exceed the March 30 deadline. And yes I would bear the cost of his neglect.\r
Not only did I catch that charge, but Mr. Phillips had handed the actual drafting of the document off to a junior attorney who billed me 3 hrs @ $300.00. Mr. Phillips is a partner and bills @ $225.00. I was shocked to know that @ this firm the junior attorney bills at a higher rate than some of the partners(just a word of caution).\r
I terminated Mr. Phillips on April 21. He billed me for work until May 6th, but failed to appear at a scheduled Pre trial conference on April 27th. In fact he failed to notify the court of his termination until April 29th, apparently everything he does takes time.\r
When I disputed some of the charges on the invoice and refused to pay them, the firm filed a small claim against me. At first I though this was very unusual, court records indicated this was busines as usual for this firm.\r
Mr. Phillips rep. the firm @ the hearing & brought another attorney as a witness. When the judge ruled she gave them less than 50% of their claim. She complemented me on my case. I don't think I did that great, I think the lack of legal talent across the table just made me look good.\r
3 attorneys worked on the case from mediation thru resolution @ a cost of ???? to recover $1,039 + court cost. Hell of a business model. Must be the same 1 Lehman used just before they filed bankruptcy.\r
Only advise I can give is... HOLD ONTO YOUR WALLET, AND RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

Grace Lee is a consumate professional Family Law attorney and a compassionate human being. \r
\r
I would not have survived my arduous 3.5 year divorce process without her insightful counsel, her ""call-it-like-it-is"" style and her full dedication to my case. \r
\r
Grace demonstrates a deep and thorough working knowledge of family law and a compassion for the emotional turmoil that you, individually, or you and your children - if you have children, as I do - will, and do, face daily before, during and after divorce. \r
\r
In my case, early on - when some issues were desired to be resolved collaboratively, in mediation - Grace was flexible and offered insight and counsel on how to navigate those sessions in her absence. After multiple mediations proved fruitless, I witnessed Grace's ""cut-to-the-quick"" professional skills in the Deposition process. As a communications professional, I marveled at Grace's skillfull line of questioning, which so thoroughly cornered my former spouse, that it required her attorney to ask for a break to leave the room to provide her ""damage-control"" counseling, on 5 separate occasions!\r
\r
Grace was far more prepared and thorough than the opposing attorney. She thinks in advance and anticipates the issues like an all-pro quarterback looks at the opposition, reads the defense and then strikes in the appropriate way and at the most timely moment.\r
\r
Grace's brilliant negotiation skills brought my case to the best conclusion possible - a very fair financial split and the best Custody agreement possible, one designed to keep all family members here, in one city and not relocating the children outside of their hometown, as my former spouse attempts to do. Grace has taken a strong stand for my children's well-being all throughout the process. \r
\r
The bottomline? Choose Grace Lee as your counsel. \r
\r
Don't waste time or money. Choosing an attorney to carry you through your divorce is a profoundly important decision. Her firm, Stahncyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook is by far the best in the entire region. \r
\r
I feel fortunate to have had Grace Lee on my side of the table and so will you. Call her..you will be very happy you did.\r

Pros: Organized, Thorough, Knowledgeable, Clear, Understanding

Cons: Doesn't carry magic elixir to make it all go away

If you're going throught a divorce, BEWARE! This law firm overcharged me, my attorney was a complete unorganized mess and is no longer working there! Hellooo.........what does that tell you! Honestly, run.....run as fast as you can. I have pages and pages of correspondence with the owner, a partner and a collection agency (used car sales man) to try and resolve my outstanding debt to them. They charged me over $7000 (in one month) for a job I had done at another law firm for $2500! I swear! So please, RUN! I have NEVER wrote a review about anybody or any business, but because of the stress and sleepless nights that I have experienced, I thought I would pass it on!

Jody Stahancyk and her team are the best domestic relations attorney's in the Portland/Vancouver area. If you are willing to pay for it you will receive the greatest value from Jody. She is also the most strategic, creative and competitive leader of the half dozen top attorney's I interviewed. Hiring Jody and her team was the best decision I made during my divorce. Thank you Jody!

Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson, and Hook is a well-run firm made up of stellar individuals. Every member of the firm is committed to seeing their clients through a time of great distress in a caring and respectful manner. The firm's size allows for economies of scale when doing much of the leg work of a divorce, particularly if there are complex issues. \r
Grace Lee has a keen understanding of both the law and how to most effectively deal with people during difficult times. She has great tenacity in resolving conflict and separating the business of divorce from the emotions of divorce.\r
Jody Stahancyk leads SKJ&H, and she does it well. She is a smart, energetic, creative, honest, hardworking woman who cares about getting her clients through the divorce process in the best possible manner. She doesn't indulge unrealistic expectations, talks tough when you need to hear it, and listens well as you go through different stages of the process. She is a highly creative thinker and a realist.\r
Divorce is a challenging time in most of our lives, and I am thankful I had such great people to help me through.

This review is for Jamie Gerlitz, AAL at the Bend location of Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook. I previously utilized this firm in 2001 with my first divorce and received superb service so naturally I chose them in the latter part of 2007 when sadly, another relationship dissolved. I am not sure how I feel about being deemed as a ?repeat customer? or that I am racking up frequent flyer miles, which I am, but that is it, that is me. Ron Johnson chose to pair me up with one of his team members, Jamie Gerlitz. I loved her. I could tell her anything. She was so professional. I will try hard to describe what I saw in her. She was resourceful, thorough and a fact finder. She was nice, really nice. She made me feel so comfortable. She understood my anxieties and tailored her approach to fit my needs while at the same time always mindful of keeping the firms business objectives in mind. For example, I did not like getting mail. I started avoiding the mailbox actually. The legal verbiage was hard to understand and scary. Jamie would always email me to prepare me. She would always tell me not to worry but to expect such and such correspondence in the mailbox. I really appreciated her personal touch. We ended up settling and avoiding a trial but I always imagine that she would have been stunning in court. You can just tell by the way she talks, the look in her eye and that smile that she is a stellar attorney. She worked very hard on my behalf and my case was not easy. It was quite complicated. I am very pleased with the outcome. You get what you pay for. I have a Nordstrom quality attorney, not some Kmart flake in a strip mall. That last comment was for her, I know she will laugh when she reads it. The SKJ&H firm is lucky to have her on their team.

Normally I don't write reviews. However, this was such a good experience I had to put it out there. A year ago I was going through a tough time with child visitation and child support. I was told that because I was a guy it really didn't matter what i did, I was hosed. I was told by a lot of people that men in Oregon always get a bad deal in court. I have to say this was my second appearence in a family law courtroom on this matter. And I had already experienced those words to be true. However, Grace Lee at Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & hook proved that it really comes down to legal repersentation! She was amazing!!! I wish I would have used her the first time I ever went to court. She turned everything around for me. I see my son all of the time now. I actually get more time with him than we asked. His mom said, ""I never want to see your attorney in a court room again."" Grace doesn't look tough by anymeans, but get her in a court room and it is a totally different story. She commands the respect from Judges and other attorneys by her intellect and demeanor. From the moment we walked into court I knew i was in great hands. She always gave me a straight forward story. Most importantly she came through for me. Everything that she said would happen, happened. Thank you Grace Lee for being my voice when I didn't have one. If you are looking for great legal repersentation; you need to call this firm. You have to ask for Grace Lee because she is the best in the business. When you first walk in to this firm you will meet Karen Wood. She is awesome and makes you feel right at home. She is part of this great team as well. If you have a problem (which you most likely won't there) just ask Karen. She knows. What a great experience! I never met Jody, but the apple can't fall that far from the tree! They have hired great people. Net/Net if you are not with this firm you are not with the A team. You are on the B team.

They say that you should always trust a referral. Laurel Hook and Jill Brittle epitomize what they mean. I found Laurel and the Stahancyk team through two independant referral sources. She and her associate Jill Brittle did an amazing job helping me navigate a frustrating custody modification. Their attention to detail was amazing and their strategy resulted in an outcome beyond my expectations. If you need help - this is the team to call!

Divorce is bad\r
\r
I was unprepared for the process. Laural and her team did an outstanding job of communicating with me. I knew they were ready, willing, and able to win any fight if it came to that. Knowing they were there allowed me to mediate and initially avoid a huge fight. When the fight was unavoidable they knew exactly what to do. \r
\r
If you have to go through this process make sure you have a professional in your corner. I still don?t know how I made it through. I do believe that without Laural and her team I wouldn?t have made it.\r

I have been working with Grace Lee for far longer than I would have liked to. However, that is not a reflection on her. She has been an incredible advocate for me and has made this process, though incredibly stressful, much less hard on me. She is sweet, funny, intelligent and do not be fooled by her appearance. While she appears young, she is highly knowledgeable and impressive to watch in court.\r
\r
I have also been working with Heath Sandoe. While not an attorney, he and Grace are a great team. Heath is sweet, intelligent uplifting, gets back to me immediately and very charming. He and Grace are a killer combo.

I am a senior citizen and have never been in litigation. I came into my divorce action under considerable stress facing the unknown. Matthew Cohen not only expertly handled my legal matters but carefully guided, clearly explained, and caringly reassured me throughout this procedure. I?m extremely satisfied with his professionalism and his compassion.

While divorce is never easy, the staff at SKJ&H and in particular Brian Kulhanjian, made this experience one of grace. Brian guided me through the process with a tremendous amount of compassion, humor and sound advice. People tend to get pre-conceived notions about attorneys and Brian quickly evicted all stereotypes from my brain. He treated me as if I was his only priority, and his compassionate approach made me feel I was more than just ?a client.? Brian provided me with sound advice through out the process, never pushing me to ?get more? but never being afraid to ?lay down the law? when he felt strongly about something. Within moments of meeting him I felt completely at ease, and after our first meeting I actually gave him a hug. Truly, as an attorney and as a man, Brian is exceptional. He and the staff at SKJ&H made me feel cared for and comfortable during a very uncomfortable time in my life and I am eternally grateful.

Teresa Foster is one hell of an attorney, and she can work in both Washington and Oregon with the same level of professionalism. I had the privilege of working with and for Teresa for 13 months. She is a passionate professional who can quickly size up a problem and cut to the chase. If I ever find myself in need of an attorney in a high conflict family law matter, I would call her straight away.

BRIAN KULHANJIAN: maybe not the easiest name to pronounce, but well worth learning how! Brian makes you feel like you're his only client. During our first conference, he picked up on small details immediately, getting to the heart of the matter Not just thorough, incredibly bright and easy to talk to, with a warm sense of humor, but (and this one's a huge plus when concerning the infammatory nature of divorce) ... emphathetic. Near the close of our first hour, after sincerely asking us how we were doing, Brian diplomatically suggested that if either of us needed any counseling help, he had references readily available. \r
Like any metropolitan city, Portland offers many choices. Happily, luckily, we happened to find the very best.

I wholeheartedly recommend Teresa Foster. Unlike other attorneys I've worked with, she can take a very complex case and cut to the chase with some grounded, successful approaches. She listens extremely well; works very collaboratively with her clients and other professionals; maintains sound boundaries, when responding to other parties representing themselves pro-se; and sustains a consistent strategy to achieve some important goals. She has helped protect my child from some serious risks: I'd particularly recommend Teresa is your divorce case involves any situations which place your child at risk or involve unusual complications or challenges.

Laurel Hook (and the Stahancyk firm) proved to be one of the silver linings of my divorce. Laurel went above and beyond to explain the legal process, was an excellent advocate on my behalf and artfully walked me through every aspect of my divorce with excellent results. She is an outstanding attorney who demonstrated a real genuine concern for me and my children. Laurel, Jody Stahancyk and Laurie Krachtovil didn't stop providing first class support with the signing of the judgement - they went on to assist me in finding a new home, car and employment! From my first telephone to the firm I felt understanding, compassion and confidence that I'd found the attorney (attorneys) and staff with the legal knowledge, experience and ability to advocate on my behalf which would result in a positive outcome. \r

The lead attorney on my case was Grace Lee, however I ended up working primarily with Brian Kulhanjian. Grace was a delight to work with. Brian is who saw me through a long and nasty divorce. Brian was incredibly thorough and always responded promptly to my questions or phone calls. He made sure I was comfortable with the terms of the divorce and understood everything. My emotions were running high and he helped maintain a sense of order in a devestating time. I so appreciate Brian's professionalism and also sincere thought and care for my and my son's well-being. I highly recommend this attorney.

Pros: Easy parking, the office is warm and everyone is inviting

Cons: It is a little spendy, but well worth the money

As a Father of two young girls, custody was my primary concern in the settlement of my divorce. The first attorney I hired told me that, as a man, I had little chance to get custody and that I should negotiate with that in mind. I fired him. I was then referred to Grace Lee and to make a long story short I now have 50% custody with no child support or alimony payments. Grace got the results that I wanted and she did while maintaining a high ethical standard and a professional demeanor. \r

Teresa Foster served as my attorney through a recent divorce and I couldn't be happier with her or the results of the settlement. I not only felt very comfortable working with her but was extremely confident in how she handled all of the matters involved. In addition to her professional demeanor and actions in the courtroom I truly appreciated the personal approach she exhibited in guiding me through the process. Hopefully my future will not include another divorce but if it does I would not hesitate in making Teresa the first attorney I would call.

Philip Andrews has been upbeat, positive, and has shown a working knowledge of the law. He listens and shows by his actions--follow through. I have experienced integrity with him. This has been very important, since my experience has, in the past, with other attorneys been just the opposite.\r

I went to Jody Stahancyk because I was told she was the best. I was told wrong. At my first meeting with her, she was rude and actually yelled at me, telling me I was an idiot. That cost me $350. Then my case was handed off to a brand new associate, who quit after two months. My case then went to yet another associate, also fresh out of law school. I never saw or talked to Jody again, although I tried to call her several times and she never returned my e-mails. She did care about my case enought to bill me over $3500 for ""reviewing"" my file. While the representation was not horrible, it is not what I expected, especially for the hefty price tag that came with it. In all, I could have gone with another attorney without Jody's reputation, done better in my divorce, and had money left to put towards my children's college rather than another Beemer for Jody. I would not recommend her to anyone unless you have money to burn and you just want to fight.
